While I was making this, it felt really laborious, but now it's done, I'm thinking I'm doing it again in 2015. I wouldLOVE LOVE LOVE to have a one second everyday glimpse of say, my Nan's life.
Here ya go
Edited to add my little FB blurb: After seeing Cesar Kuriyama’s video where he explained how he was recording one second every day, I was inspired (or crazy) to do the same. It's incredible to see all that has happened in one year in his life. It’s quite a commitment to film every day. I got hoha (translation = annoyed) in the last third of the year, but now it’s finished, I’m glad I (mostly) stuck with it. Quite a few of my FB friends make a cameo in this video. Too many to tag. Actually, everyone from Babylon’s fish to Barney the plant pop up. BTW, this is a long video. Feel free to turn off if you get bored. I won’t get offended. I got bored making it sometimes lol.
Sometimes people forget how much 365 days actually brings to their lives. However, this is the right moment to reflect and to hope for 365 more wonderful days! Happy New Years!
Music: (I do not own any of the copyright) Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield (Boyce Avenue ft. Diamond White acoustic cover) Waves - Mr. Probz (Robin Schulz Remix)(Boyce Avenue cover)
And now a poem Twas the night before New Years and ALL thru my house I was getting highly agitated because editing this *&^% vid was getting on my last nerve…
I know that doesn’t rhyme but meh. I AM DONE! YAY!

I LOVE this idea!!! Great job! My take from this glimpse in your life is that you work hard and are quite active. My video would likely have a lot of couch shots with Netflix flashing.

That was an amazingly creative way to record your memories. I watched the entire thing and thought it was fabulous!

I really enjoyed that! Is it something you thought of? Or is there a tutorial/app?

I really enjoyed that! Is it something you thought of? Or is there a tutorial/app? I just found an app on the play store called: 1 second everyday. It's free for 30 days, then .99, think I'll give it a go this year.

I really enjoyed that! Is it something you thought of? Or is there a tutorial/app? It was not my original idea. As far as I'm aware a guy named Cesar Kuriyama came up with the idea and there are apps available now. There is a cute baby one on youtube. I think we forget that our everyday life is interesting to others. I really tried to have a more interesting life this year. It can't be that interesting if I filmed myself driving 37 times lol.

But you know, it's interesting to me because I don't know about where you live. Also we do spend time driving in our lives

I love it! I think it's cool because it's a real glimpse into your life.. not a staged selfie or anything like that. I think I have a pretty boring life but what the heck, I'm going to try it in 2015 too.

So, do you film at several different points during the day and edit it later? Can you edit as you go? This concept was in a movie I watched last night & I'm intrigued, but have no idea how it works.

This is a moronic question but my 14 yr old son (aka Tech Support) is busy. So with the app, you take a video every day and then save a snippet to the date. Do you have to keep the video on your phone, or can you delete it without losing the part saved to the app? Did that make sense? **Never mind. I knew it was a dumb question and I answered it myself.

Polly, that was amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Perspective is an interesting thing. Near the end of your video, I thought what a great life you have. Just after that, you posted that your life looked boring.

That was so cool. And I know you don't think it's exciting - but it was fun to see little bits of your life on the other side of the world. Congrats on finishing!

That is fantastic. What a memory to have. I'm impressed that you kept it up for a year and have it already finished, I'd put money that is never get around to either. But you have given me inspiration!
