I see the recipes for them all the time on pinterest. Was going to make them for tomorrow night...then I read it says to shake them numerous times over 24 hours! Wasn't gonna make them.until a few hours before. Anyone ever made them same day?

My sister has made a variety of flavors. I have never seen them made, so I don't know the labor involved. They were mighty tasty.

Use oyster crackers instead...you don't have to shake like that. I know when I made them a long time ago, they went in the oven and I think we used a dry package of ranch dressing and something else...they were delicious

When I made a bunch, I use one of those specialty seasoning packets -- which also called for a TON of oil. The shaking and time involved, I'm sure, was to get the oil absorbed.

Pssssst... You can now buy flavored Saltines in the grocery store. They now come in Rosemary & Olive Oil and are very yummy. No work involved,

Or maybe the teeny tiny Club crackers.

I've used oyster crackers. I've made them with the ranch dip and then another recipe using sesame seeds. They are yummy and no shaking involved.
