Now that the 4th has come/gone what did you have or make to share with others? I want to have friends over and they eat really healthy. Me, I'm better than what I once was, but still have room for improvement. My ideas so far: salsa (with corn, peppers, black beans) veggie platter dipped strawberries fruit pretzels - with something to dip in (any suggestions) I wondered about: meatballs veggie pizza I'll ask that they bring a dish to share, but I still want to have food here. TIA-

I do the veggie platter and I make a dip using greek yogurt and powdered ranch. I don't tell anyone it's greek yogurt and so far nobody has complained. A fruit salad (just cut up fruit...nothing else) is always good, as is hummus with carrots.

Hummus sounds like a good addition to your list. Maybe it can go with the pretzels.
