In a dream world I'd like the garden to be terraced. We are on a hill & it would be amazing to have it terraced with a patio/deck at the top end & a much higher fence at the bottom end. Right now I'll settle for getting the fence that we do have fixed (looking like that'll be next week...yay!)
Realistically, please can I have our 3 bathrooms re-done?! They are original to the house (25 yrs-ish), not my taste & not functioning terribly well. That was going to be a goal for this year but then a car started acting up...

Since I just bought this house, I love it, but there is a laundry list of things to change. The two big things are the master bath--it has a cheap, surround one piece tub/shower, and I want a tub big enough to actually take a bath in. With any luck at all, it will all turn into the bath of my dreams. The other big thing is the landscaping. Horrible drainage, my front lawn (which is a generous term) is small and sand-filled. The backyard is very uneven and will probably need an entire makeover.
It will never end......

Bump the kitchen and kitchen eating area out 10 feet, and redo it.
Minor things we can do but haven't yet: Interior French Doors, between Living Room and Front Entry, and between Dining Room and Living Room. Redo flooring, wood downstairs, replace carpeting on stairs up and upstairs. Change the direction of the garage door into the house from left side hinge to right side hinge.

I like my house. I really do. But I wish my bathroom fixtures were white instead of colored. My bathtub, toilet and sink are mauve. The bathroom cabinet is wood with mauve inset or something. The tile floor is off-white with blocks of mauve. Did you know mauve is not in fashion these days? My bathroom needs a redo. Obviously I'm not doing anything about it right now but now is when the towels and stuff are on sale so I'd like to get them and have them for a suitable time. But I can't find a shower curtain that will look nice in this bathroom. My current one, which I don't hate, has mold. I've washed and bleached it multiple times and the mold won't go away. I don't love an all pinks pattern either. I can't just replace the fixtures as easily as I replaced the harvest gold washer and drier when the bit the dust! Ha ha- that reminded me of our old house in Utah. It was PINK. Although i claimed it to be Mauve! LOL! The outside was pink, the bathroom was pink everything. The funny part of it was, we bought it from a family who's grandpa lived in the house for many years alone. We think maybe he had a wife before and just never changed it. We changed the bathroom, but it took us forever to paint the outside! Our house here, the only thing I would change immediately is the floors. We have a mix of carpet and linoleum tile. We have black labs and it drives me CRAZY cleaning them. I would change them hardwood. Other than it would be the master bath. It's tiny. I can live with the kitchen for a while.

I'm in an apartment so I can't play, but I can say the things I used to want in my former house. -To have a separate entry so you don't walk right into the living room -To have a ranch instead of a two-story. I hate the steps. -White porcelain in bathroom instead of mauve

I would start with making the basement more useable..right now there are leaks..and the previous owners broke the back half of the foundation and put in a concrete covered space with rough concrete..and damp. then redo the fireplace..that is missing a stone. then redo the downstairs bathroom...we redid the upstairs one by the bedrooms..but the downstairs one was put in 25 yrs ago and is getting old. other than that we have charming 1920's house with an ocean view...and the location is very good.
