Noooo! I haven't watched Luther or House of Cards UK or Wentworth yet!!!! And what about my tad-obsessive tendency to watch the train scene of North and South over-and-over?!?! Seriously though, other than House of Cards and Orange is the New Black I really watch a lot of the BBC programming via Netflix. Sad to see this happen. I hope they can work something out before the contract expires.

I saw that story yesterday. I really hope that they can come to an agreement. My son just got into Doctor Who, and I love watching BBC shows. Luther is very good, by the way!

I was just getting ready to post this. I'm so bummed. That's about all I watch on Netflix right now. Grrrr!
(and I agree, Luther is awesome!)

No no no no. The only reason I am renewing my subscription to streaming is to watch peaky blinders. If they're not going to have it I'm not resubscribing. Anyone know when they expect to have a definite answer?

We are just at season three of Doctor Who. I think Amazon Prime has it streaming free for members. If it does go away from Netflix, we will probably cancel. That is the main thing we watch on Netflix.

I'll be sticking with Netflix as long as they have all 7 seasons of The West Wing.

There's also Acorn TV which is all British programming for $4.95 a month (thru Roku) I keep meaning to sign up. Also you can see what they offer online at www.acorn.tv My Mom has it and loves it.

Dude. I hope they can work something out. I'm in season four of Doctor Who and I have to watch like 6 a day to finish in time. I'm lazy and all, but that seems a little excessive even for me.

It may come back, they had long negotiations with sesame street and I think we had to wait at least 6 weeks but then it was back with more episodes than ever, hopefully they'll come to a negotiation.

That acorn.tv looks awesome, but they don't have Dr. Who. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime, but I watch Netflix more often. Dh and I love to rewatch the Dr. Who episodes on Netflix. Last year we did have to purchase a season of Dr. Who on Amazon to catch up to the current BBC season.
