What's everyone cooking today for the game? My heart isn't in it because my team isn't in it.... and both teams that are in it, are super rivals of the Broncos.. SOOOO that said, I am making food.. LOL...
I have some cheese dip, nothing special.. just some jarred stuff in a tiny crockpot.
Some different kinds of cheeses and crackers.
Meatballs in grape jelly/chili sauce mix...
Stuffed crab cakes.. already done at the grocery store's deli.. they look SO good.
And I am making Wild Buffalo Chicken Soup... It's 3 cups of milk, 3 cans of cream of mushroom, 3 cups of cooked chicken, 8oz of sour cream and 1/4 c. hot sauce.... place all in my bean pot and put in oven to warm... this is new.. so not sure how this will turn out!

We don't have a dog in this fight, either. We'll be watching and routing for the Seahawks...I guess. LOL So, no major celebrating in this house; just cooking chili for the game and having a margarita.

I am also cooking the meatballs in the grape jelly sauce! Lol
I have raw veggies & chips with warm cauliflower cheddar dip. Smoked kielbasa in jelly/mustard sauce. Brie and a few other cheeses. And the bacon and cheddar crescent rolls.
Lemon bars for dessert.
I took it easy today nothing time consuming.

We have a couple friends coming over. We are doing heavy apps, but I am not sure what they are bringing. We did a veggie tray with hummus, meatballs in the crock pot, Parmesan artichoke dip, a fruit and cheese tray and bacon blu dip...all with crackers, baguets and pita chips. Ds's girlfriend is bringing Seahawks cupcakes and I made brownies.

I made homemade soft pretzels. They don't look exactly awesome (this was my rookie attempt) but they sure taste good.

I made a cheese ball, pepperoni & cheese plate, fruit & veggie tray, pretzels & dip and a few different flavored boneless wings. It's just DH, myself and the girls, so not much but they wanted it to feel like a party!

I made two bite brownies and piped icing 'laces' on them so they look like footballs.
We're having meatballs, veggies and dip and chips and salsa for dinner.
Couldn't care less about the game!

Made some chili per my husband's request. We have a bunch of chips and dip. I'm also making chicken wings. I'm not watching for the game...I'm watching to eat snacks and see the commercials. Maybe I'll stick out the half time show. But mostly, I'm in it for the snacks...

I made 7 layer dip, dill dip to serve with veggies, chocolate covered strawberries and pigs in a blanket. I am going to make a GF Hawaiian pizza once the game starts and I bought the Trader Joes mini pizzas for the kids.

We are having 7 layered dip, nachos, chicken wings, twice baked potatoes. Supposed to just be the 4 of us. But my 11 year old was at the outdoor rink with his buddies playing hockey and now we have 3 more boys joining us for the first half of the game. We don't care who wins but have a bunch of side bets going on.
made brownies and butter tarts for dessert

Veggie trays are ready to go with the homemade pizzas, lamb pops, chili and nachos standing by for a little later. Just wish the game would start! ETA psiluvu all of a sudden I'm craving a butter tart - I'll have to dig around for a recipe. compwalla your pretzels look great!
