I remember reading a thread about people finding playing cards in random places, but could not remember the details. My son pointed out a playing card tucked in behind the surveillance camera mounted on the ceiling in a hospital garage elevator in Denver. Is there a game about leaving cards in random places? or am I not remembering correctly?

It's called a poker run. Clubs put them on as fund raisers. You pay your fee, get a map or list of clues and go on the search. There is usually a time limit. Prizes are awarded for poker hands.
