We are boycotting dinner out because it is Saturday and everything will be mobbed. However, we are getting a heck of a storm and now I am glad we are staying in anyway. Cooking this Brisket with sides of roasted cabbage and wild rice. Chocolate mousse for dessert. Yum!

Veg chicken parm, garlic bread, and sugar cookies for dessert. how do you make a vegetarian chicken dish? I use vegetarian fake chicken. In the past I've also breaded tofu.

We just got back from buying our dinner. We went to our favorite Asian market for some fresh wild caught ahi tuna steaks and got them for $7.00. Not each, total. If that isn't a win, I don't know what is. We are going to sear them on the grill and have some seaweed salad, wild rice and sliced avocado along with it.

Our plans changed because of the snow. So we are cooking a seafood sampler... crab cakes, scallops, and shrimp cocktail. DS#2 is actually home for the weekend so he is joining us.

We were supposed to grill some filets and make a great dinner to eat outside, but DH woke up at 2am feeling like crap and might have the flu. So no idea on dinner, but I have a feeling it might involve the freezer and microwave at this point.

I'm making prime rib (had one in the freezer when they were on sale), fresh green beans, mashed potatoes and DD and I are going to make molten lava cakes for dessert. We haven't made them before so hopefully they turn out. If not we have ice cream:)

Although DH offered to take me out I hate going to crowded restaurants on holidays. I would much rather order in a pizza from our favorite pizza place and enjoy dinner at home.

Dh went out and got some pastries from the local gluten-free bakery, and some of our favorite sausages from the local German deli. Yeah, fancy, I know.

Some delicious sounding menus!
We never go out on Valentine's Day, we don't like crowds either.
We are having bbq steaks, broiled lobster tails, sauteed mushrooms, baked potatoes and garden salad. Dessert is red velvet cupcakes and rainbow sherbet.

Panko Shrimp and steamed broccoli. It's cooking right now.
Early dinner for us because DH has to work, hence the reason we are not going out.

It's just the boy and I, as dh is working.
Dinner will either be egg muffins or frozen pizza. I hurt like hell, likely from the weather. It's been snowing for the last hour or so and I feel it coming at least a day in advance. So, super easy is just the thing I need.
