How much do you spend per week? Size of family/age of kids?
Trying to see if I am high or in the ballpark of average.

I was going to estimate it at $150.00 per week, then remembered I'd tracked food spending for a specific purpose recently. Taking off all non food purchases from my Walmart receipts it came to $551.66 for the month in which I did this. That figure did include all bottled water purchases.

You know these things always devolve into an argument about whole foods vs. processed foods, organic vs. not, etc. Family of four, two girls age 12 and 13, and we spend about $225/wk.

An obscene amount. Average about $160/week for 2 adults. And this doesn't include eating out a couple times on the weekends or dog food.

My budget comes out to $183.50 a week (husband gets paid 2x a month). This includes things like laundry detergent & paper goods, but not toiletries, etc.
There are 4 people in our household, but my husband travels Sunday thru Friday, so he is not eating the food here most of the time. My boys are 18 & 15.

Mine will definitely throw off the curve. I would guess (I don't really keep track) mine would be around $75ish a week, sometimes a lot less. It is me and teen age boy, but the boy isn't here for anywhere from 3-4 nights a week.
I tend to cook large and freeze for later, so almost every meal I make will feed me at least 3 meals-either lunch or dinner.

We have a family of four and spend between $475-$525 a month. We shop at Albertson's, so it isn't costly. Since we live close to each other, I would imagine our cost of living would be similar. My oldest is living in a mountain town this winter, so we probably spend less, I just haven't really looked at the cost. My husband does all of the grocery shopping, so that means it is cheaper than me doing it.

We are a family of four, with a 15 year old girl and DS is an 18 year old football player. All meals are made at home, with the exception of DS's school lunch. (DD and DH pack a lunch and I eat lunch at home most days.). We eat a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, breads, etc. We generally only eat out once or maybe twice a month.
I spend about $300 twice a month at the commissary and spend another $100 or so on things we need in the interim. So that's about $700, to include cleaning supplies and toiletries.

Between $100 and $125/wk plus 1 trip to Sam's every 4-6 weeks, at about $100. That includes all toiletries. Family of 4: me, dh, DS13 & DS4. The kids both eat breakfast and lunch at school. DH also eats lunch out most days and we eat out at least 1 dinner a week (don't ask me how much we spend on eating out, I'd rather not do that math )

We spend about $125 a week for 2 adults and a four year old. That includes all food, household, and H&B purchases. Sometimes it is actually less if I use coupons and shop sales but I still take out cash up to a certain amount to put away for a rainy day. So if my main grocery trip was $80, I would get $20 cash back since we have a budget of $100 a week for that.

I'd say I average close to $140 per week. Sometimes a bit higher. We have 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog and 1 cat. I pick up food for both pets at the grocery store during normal shopping, so included them also. I also hit BJ's Club about every 4-6 weeks and drop $100-200.

Family of four with a teen and a pre-teen. We spend around $200 - $225/week. We eat out or order pizza a couple times a month. Otherwise, we make everything at home, including lunches.
ETA: I went back and added it up and we spent $200/week so far this year. That includes some but not all household cleaning products, toiletries and pet food & supplies.

I think we prob spend around 200-250 per week. That includes paper products and toiletries. 6 people; 2 adults, 2 kids who eat like adults, and a 3 year old and one year old. All meals are eaten at home, or come from home. We buy mostly fruits, vegetables, breads and dairy. Canned beans and canned tomatoes. We are vegetarian so no meat but some premade fake meat products (1-2 meals per week). No freezer meals or convenience foods. Probably too many treats and snacks.

Probably about $150-$200/week for me, DH, and DS (16 and in football and basketball). No toiletries. We also feed 4-6 of DS's friends every Wed. night because they all live out of town and don't have enough time to run home between practices and church.

Once a month trip to Costco for all our meat, laundry detergent, paper products, bottle water, condiments and staples around $300. Then weekly to grocery store for fresh produce and dairy at $75. We are 3 adults all working outside the home. I take my lunch from dinner leftovers.

I've been spending about $150-$175 per week lately with DH and I plus a 13 year old boy in wrestling and a 10 year old boy.
I had been doing really well at coming in right at about $100-$125, but it seems to have gone up lately. I don't know if prices have gone up, if I have gone off the list too much, or if it is because I have started making more complicated meals that require more ingredients

about $150/wk - family of five - 3 adults, 1 teen girl and 1 8 y/o girl plus 7 cats
the youngest eats lunch at school - DH, DS and DD all pack lunches from home and I eat lunch at home.
Simon cooks dinner one night a week at his expense as part of his rent - that isn't included in my total (although he does use incidentals from the pantry)

Two adults. I desperately try to keep it under $50 a week but I've been averaging $70. The price of groceries went up without asking my budget.

Around $150 a week. I serve 3 meals a day here. 3 for breakfast, just the 2 of us at noon, and 3 again for supper. I don't buy much meat since we raise our own and I freeze a lot of my garden produce also.
It goes up quite a bit if more kids are home.

It is only me here but I spend less than $50 per week. I also seldom ever eat out. I pack all of my own lunches for work and I do not buy processed foods often. I spend the majority of my money on fresh produce, coconut milk, heavy whipping cream, eggs and cheese.

In my head I spend $100 a week, but in reality it has been closer to $150. I have been trying to buy more produce, healthier meats, and some healthier snacks that are too expensive. There are 6 of us, DH and I and four boys.

It also depends very much on where you live. Groceries in Hawaii are going to cost more than groceries in Kansas. I live in one of the most expensive areas (not as bad as Hawaii) in the USA-an hour away from Washington DC.
My budget for 3 grown adults is $200.00 a week. Most weeks I spend less than that. I shop only at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's buying the majority of our food at Whole Foods. We are Vegans except of DS who is not. Now that he has graduated from college, has an internship and is living at home for the time being I try to make at least two meals a week that include shrimp or fish. I buy organics as much as I can especially the "dirty dozen". We rarely eat out and don't order anything in although DS does. DH and I also don't eat fast food. Once DS moves out we'll be back to no meat at all, which I'm looking forward to.
I did notice that once we dropped meat and dairy from our diets last year my grocery bills took a nose dive. That was a pleasant surprise.

About $150 a week for two adults. We will eat out or get take out once a week. We make all of our other meals.
Not a lot of processed food and lots of veggies in there.

We spend around $150 a week for our family of 6. I used to spend a lot less, but prices have kept creeping up. I keep telling myself I need to cut that amount down but haven't been very successful. We eat all meals at home (or pack food when we are away from home). My goal is to try to get it back around $100 a week but might have to settle for closer to 125.

We are four adults (40s and 70s) and one child (7yo) with frequent child and occasional adult guests. Once a week and sometimes twice we host a family of six in addition to our crew. I prepare lunch for my staff sometimes as well. (All of which is to say: we make a lot a lot a lot of food.)
I spend $125-175 a week depending on what I make. That's for everything including TP, paper towels, toiletries and my medicines.

I love Albertsons, but DS has a fundraiser where he gets 5% of every dollar I spend at King Soopers/Kroger, so I shop and get my gas there. I would really rather be at Albertsons or even Safeway.

Way too much for a single person! In my defense I do cook about 2 meals a week for DD's family of four. I look at it as spending on my hobby though to make it easier to justify my huge grocery bill.
