My kitchen is being remodeled, so all the kitchen stuff is strewn all over the dining room. And I can't find a bottle opener to open the fancy sparkling water I really want to drink.
What's your first world problem today?

I finally got one of those can openers that doesn't leave sharp edges and when I opened a can of tuna today, I realized I can't drain it (by holding the opened lid in place) like I always have. I was irritated.

I'd like to have a glass of juice but I'm sitting with my blanket all snugged in and I'm too cold to get up and get it. Sigh. Life is so hard.

I was irritated. Opening tuna cans is the reason we kept our old opener after we bought our fancy, no sharp edges one. Lol.

I jut realized the box of valentines chocolates I opened doesn't have a label telling me which one is which...guess I have to taste them all. It's a hard knock life.
UPDATE: I found the caramel, it's all good.

I have a bottle opener you can borrow, we got one that sticks to the fridge (for the same reason) so we don't loose it. My only problem is I really want some ice-cream but I have a lingering cough and it's driving me crazy!

The parking lot of the restaurant we wanted to go for dinner tonight was full, even on two passes (and no street parking). So we ended up at Chili's at the mall.

I like the fruit ones too- I just don't like the mocha ones. The carmel are my favorite, oh man now do I want chocolate or ice-cream? I really like those choc orange sticks.

I am so angry! My DVR said I had too much saved and could not record anymore. I do not have anything saved so I only got to see one TV show.

DH was sweet and bought me a box of Valentine's candy for Saturday. I opened it Sunday and most of the pieces were fruit flavored like orange or raspberry. Give me mocha any day. There was only one caramel piece (amongst about 10 pieces total).
I went yesterday and bought half price Kit Kat and Reese's candy to make up for the chocolate flavored shortage in the candy box.

I wanted to take ds to our favorite local Italian place and he insisted on eating at Chili's. Every time I eat there I have indigestion. Including tonight ![(puke)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sick.png)

School was out on Monday for the holiday. School was cancelled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and now tomorrow as well as our county is still cleaning up and recovering from the ice storm we had on Monday. Some of the schools finally got power back today and many homes, especially in the northern part of the county still have no power.
We never lost power...the biggest inconvenience we had was that we lost our satellite signal for Direct TV for a few minutes on Monday. And today, I am out of orange juice.
First world problem, for sure.

One more...almost two weeks ago, while at ThesCon, the drama director mentioned in passing that we needed to find a flatbed tow truck to move a vehicle for us.
I shared a name of a man I used to attend church with (well he still attends the church...I do not) that we have used personally in the past. I trusted him and trust that he's not going to screw us.
Contact was made...the vehicle was transported and a debit card was used to pay him.
It showed up as a "pending transaction" with the bank account. (I'm the treasurer...so these are the type of things I follow, of course) I wrote it down in the register.
After a few days, it dropped off and disappeared altogether. I waited a few days and ended up having to make a few phone calls, including to the director, the tow truck dude, and finally the bank.
After talking to the bank, I had to call the tow guy again. (the transaction was approved...and even though it dropped off was still approved...the bank was just waiting for the tow guy to "take it")
Finally today, after too many phone calls and too much time spent on this one transaction, it finally showed up on online banking.
I've never been so relieved to see a transaction post. Good grief. I just wanted to make sure he was paid. Told tow guy that if he preferred, I'd write him a check from the account

I have way too much cool scrapping junk and I'm realizing now after working on my mess ALL DAY (and barely making a tiny dent) that it's probably going to take me a year to get everything unpacked. And then it will take me another year to get it all organized in my space. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/R6yG4nI0YHiVm0wktwl4.jpg)

The e-book I purchased from Amazon yesterday didn't load to my iPad. Had to live chat to resolve the problem.
Tried to purchase songs on iTunes and got a message to update my account and credit card because I hadn't purchased from this computer. Indeed I had. I have a balance in my iTunes account and just wanted them to deduct it from that.

UPDATE: I found the caramel, it's all good. Someone did some kind of survey or analysis and says: Caramels are usually square. Chocolates with soft centers, such as truffles and whips, are round. Rectangular candies are typically filled with nougat. Oval candies most often contain butter fudge. Nut Clusters are usually round and have a chunky surface. I think you should test each hypothesis and let us know.

Oh, and my first world problem is that I can't decide whether I would rather go on vacation later this year to NYC or Boston/NH. I've been both places countless times (well, I was born and raised in NH so I guess I have been there more!) and think I really want to go see my brother's new house in NH. But then, it's been a couple of years since I have been back to Manhattan, so there's that. I might just do both if it gets too stressful. Yeah, that's a pickle. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ui47LhQw2NqWVWNNqtfM.jpg)
