Six and a half times for me: three cousins, my sister, and my best friend, another friend that I forgot because I haven't seen her in 20 years (but that was my favorite dress!) and I learned from this thread that if you are a witness at a town hall wedding, that counts as half a bridesmaid. Bonus question: did you hook up with any of your partners? For me one Edited to update my total!

11. I was maid of honor 4 times out of the 11. I never thought I would be a bridesmaid because I didn't have sisters. The only one that was a relative was my grandma. The movie, "27 Dresses" was my life story for awhile. I never hooked up with any of the groomsmen. My dresses were super ugly. I would post pictures if I had a flicker account.

Three. A cousin and two best friends. Luckily, me and a few other of my my friends got married later in life and we didn't have bridesmaids. It was awesome!

Just once...a MOH for my cousin. I moved away from my hometown after that...actually halfway across the country. So my friends/relatives that did marry, I wasn't easily able to travel back. And I went years and years out here without friends.

I was a bridesmaid in both my sister's weddings, bridesmaid for a friend, MOH for my BFF's second marriage, and (LOL!) "best (wo)man" for my brother in case that counts!
ETA: No hookups here.

I don't even know and not sure that I can even remember all of them. LOL My mother used to joke about my closet full of bridesmaid and Maid of honor dresses that I had, especially since I was the one who said I would never get married. I even used some of the dresses twice for smaller weddings. I haven't been a bridesmaid or maid of honor since I was married 25 years ago. Back in the day when I was in all of these weddings, it wasn't the major deal people make it out to be today. I finally got rid of all of my dresses. LOL

Just once. I thought I was going to be for one other friend though. As much as I wish I could say it didn't bother me, it really did.

Zip, zero, zilch. I'm hoping to maintain that record, too! And I've only been to two weddings and three funerals so far.

Three. Two BFF's and one sibling that were married after us. My two other married siblings didn't really do the bridesmaid/groomsman thing.

Maid of Honor twice and bridesmaid twice.
Now here's the weird/funny story. I was 27 when I was maid-of-honor at my friend's wedding. I was 27 years old, not married, not dating, and had been to way too many weddings. Each and every wedding I had gone to I caught the wedding bouquet. At the wedding where I was maid-of-honor, I vowed to stand in the back and refused to make any attempt to catch the bouquet. I stood behind all of the other girls, arms folded in front of me. Well, guess what? Yep, the bouquet literally landed on the top of my head. Later that evening, after the wedding, I had a first date with this guy. Four months later, we were engaged and 8 months after that we were married. We'll celebrate our 23rd anniversary this summer. Now at my wedding, my 27 year old cousin did the same thing I did--refused to even try to catch the bouquet. Well, my bouquet ended up hitting her on the head just like it did with me the year earlier. Later that evening, she had a blind date, ended up falling in love, got engaged, and was married almost one year to the date that I got married. They will celebrate their 22nd anniversary this summer.
Okay, way off topic, but thanks for letting me ramble!
