Hey Survivors! Yay! My Pool pick, Joe, is still in the game Isn't he pretty? Here's what my DVR says about the episode tonight: "A hard-working tribe is impacted by a decision of labor; a contestant's strategy ends up backfiring during the immunity challenge." Which tribe do you think is the "hard-working" one?

spoiler below . . . . . . . . . I like Nina but it was totally her fault she got voted off. She seems to be very emotionally needy and that's not really a good thing for survivor. On the other hand, I could use a lot fewer visuals of Will's man boobs, TYVM.
eta: not "like" so much as "felt bad for" Nina. I didn't hate her.

I thought it has always been a given that these threads will have spoilers in them? It's why I never read them until I've been able to watch the show.
I liked her as well, but she seemed to have a lot of insecurities. I didn't understand though, why they thought she was too weak for the challenge? They asked her to go ahead of them, and then she gets the blame for losing the challenge ? They didn't let her play, how is it then her fault?

that was really stupid to not use her in the challenge, you are plugging holes and she has 2 hands, how could she hurt the game? Will voting out Vince (i think that was his name) last week will come back to hurt him. He lost the #s and he will be the next to go if no collar doesn't win next week.

Last week and last night my first picks to get kicked off went home. Yay! If I were hearing impaired I'd hate being represented by Nina. What a whiney, feel sorry for myself, non-participating person she was. She had no business being on survivor. There are plenty of people with disabilities who would have given it 110% and even won. Now there is no one left that I really dislike, except maybe the guy from the first week who got the clue about the immunity idol.

Not using Nina was dumb. Like another poster said, she had two hands to fill holes. So the other teams had 10 hands and they only had 8, they should have just sat her out. Even Jeff couldn't figure that out.
She may not have been my favorite player, but she didn't deserve to be voted out for that reason. I think Will is the weak link on the No Collar tribe.

I think Nina dug her own grave with her constantly going on and on about her deafness and how much of a struggle it was, how she didn't fit in, how she was at a disadvantage, how no one in her tribe liked her, on and on and on. Joe tried to cheer her up and boost her spirits. He mentioned how his mother worked with the deaf and taught himself and his brothers sign language as babies, how he'd been around deaf people his whole life. Hali tried to be nice to her when she mentioned how she liked her top, they tried to include her with the lizard feast, but Nina screwed up her face and refused to participate. Will tried to be her friend. She turned everyone away and constantly talked in a negative way about herself. I think it got to the point where as a tribe they just couldn't stand being around that much negative energy. It must have been overwhelming negative energy because here they had Will who clearly would have been the obvious choice since he was so terrible at challenges that voting him out was the logical choice, not to mention since he went against what they all agreed to vote at the last tribal how could they continue to trust him-but they decided to vote Nina out. Was it the right choice? Team wise who knows? What is more important? Tribe spirit and peace at camp leading to challenges or purely physical strength at challenges?
If you read the Dalton Ross recap and especially the Q and A portion with Jeff Probst, Jeff gives a great explanation about what led to Nina's demise. I'm sorry, I can't do links with this stupid Linex system I'm on, but just Google it and March 11, and it'll come right up. They are wonderful to read and very informative.
So what's up with everyone bitchin and fighting around camp? It's only 3 weeks in and all of the "we're so happy we're here" has worn off quickly. We've got Texas guy oil worker still complaining because not everyone is working night and day like he thinks they should. Honestly this would drive me nuts too. I'm a hard worker, and if I was there I'd do my share around camp. But I'd hate to have someone insist I work his hours-the break of dawn until God knowns when doing what he said when he said it. He's been like this since day one-what is his name? I'm sure the rest of his tribe has had it up to here and Lindsey went off on him this week saying what I think everyone was thinking because tall blonde girl was nodding right beside her. Except then she took it too far. She attacked his religion. This is a game about getting along well with other people. Attacking someone else's religion is not the way to do that. No matter what you think of it.
Then we have Postal Worker Guy trying to joke with Rodney and saying his mother is a wh*re. Postal Worker guy I think has a problem being funny. I think he tries to be funny, but then he just isn't. It's like if you try too hard, you're not. Being funny shouldn't be so hard. He seems to rub people the wrong way a lot of the time. If this tribe loses I think he and Texas oil worker are going to be the first two to go. I think Postal Worker guy will be first-he's older and not in as good shape as Texas Oil Worker and I really have to get better at learning all of their names. So sorry about that.
I'm excited for next week. We have a 2 hour Survivor with 2 episodes back to back. Jeff said in the Q&A that it's an exciting one. Let's hope so!

The ACC tourney caused the show to be aired at a weird time here, and the end of my recording got cut off (grr), so I didn't get to see who was voted out. I'm glad to know it was Nina, though. While I didn't care for her, I have to admit that her team's "strategy" with her at the challenge was completely mind-boggling.

I agree about how there's no need to put those "click here for spoilers" things in our posts. I mean, the title clearly says "spoilers". That's the whole point of this, isn't it? Anyway, I agree totally about getting rid of Nina. Talk about negative energy. ugh. Remember Kristy from whatever season that was? She was deaf and you didn't hear her going on and on and on and on about it. She did tell her team mates, obviously, but then just carried on. She did struggle with it a bit, like at night when she couldn't read lips because it was so dark. And I remember her complaining about it a bit, and being sad about it and about not being included. But -- she was doing that complaining mostly to the camera during her one-on-one time with them. She was NOT carrying on all the time around camp. She was just working. I agree with what everyone has already said so no need to repeat it all. lol. I'm off to read Dalton and Jeff's recaps. Yeah, I'm behind a bit this week. Can't wait for the two-hour episode this week!

The title doesn't say spoilers although it should be implied.

So here's an actual spoiler. . . . . . . . . . I am pretty sure the tribes will be changed up this week. I saw a challenge photo with only two teams.

As a reader, it is my opinion that nothing can be considered a spoiler after the show airs on the East coast. I typically won't get online or will avoid threads until I have seen the show if I don't want to be spoiled. I do want warnings for season spoilers.
Speaking of spoilers, I think it is safe to assume there is a tribe shuffle this week since there is a 2 hour episode and we are passing the 4th person booted. Have there been any previews showing who ends up on the new tribes?

I've participated on this thread for a few years now and as far as I can remember we've always discussed what happened on the show that night or in previous episodes.
I consider Spoilers to be things like a boot list that someone found on the net somewhere and is posting here for those who want to know ahead of time-that would be a real Spoiler and the kind of thing I do NOT want to see, because it would end the enjoyment of the show for me (but I can understand how others love those kinds of things). If someone does want to post something like that I really appreciate it done within a Spoiler warning and hidden-so those of us who are like me don't have to see it.
If however, we are just discussing that night's show as we have always done, why would that be considered a spoiler. If I made a mistake about talking about the show this week I am sorry.
