So guests can use / find one if need be?
I don't, but I'm wondering if I should.
I always have to check before company comes over to make sure there is enough on a roll.
Paige.

You would never find our extra rolls of toilet paper in our bathroom. They are hidden in behind the 40000000000000000 bandaids. No exaggeration. People keep buying Costco size boxes of bandaids.

If I have a group coming over I do make sure there is an extra role out just because you never know.

Due to storage space (or lack of), I keep all of my extra TP in a pretty basket on the floor under the vanity. So it is in view for anyone who may need it, but it looks nice.

No, extra TP is not out on display. Our guest bathroom has a vanity/cabinet and we keep the extra rolls in there. I figure folks are smart enough to open the cabinet if the TP should happen to run out and I don't catch it first. I know I would be poking around in the cabinets if that happened to me when I was a guest at someone else's house.

I didn't want to drill a TP holder into our new tile so I bought a standing holder that stores spare rolls underneath, so they're always there and accessible for guests.

Yes, just because there's a convenient and visible place. I wasn't really thinking about guests when I put them there, though. I'm a bad hostess.

On display? No. But I do keep extra rolls inside the cabinet in each of our three bathrooms. I usually have several extra rolls in each bathroom.

I think the same as cmpeter. I trust that people will look in the vanity for another roll if needed. And I confess that I've never checked how much was on a roll before a party. I will now, though!

No. ALL of my TP is hidden away. I have a tip-out for the 'in use' tp. There is sometimes a roll or two under the sink (in the cabinet.) The rest is in the guest bedroom. My dog steals and eats TP, so it has to be somewhere she can get to it. My house isn't big, and sometimes I've heard someone calling from the bathroom about 'where is the tp?' We're all friends here.

No. When I am expecting guests I put a new roll in the holder, using up the old one in the master bath.

Yes, in the downstairs powder room. In a wicker basket. Though I keep meaning to hang a small cabinet so it doesn't have to sit out in the open.

I don't have any cabinets in my powder room at all, just a pedestal sink and toilet. I have a basket that is the same size as the tank cover, and I store extra TP and hand towels there on the top of the toilet.

No, I don't. The potty is right next to a cabinet. If the TP is out, all one has to do is simply open the cabinet and they will find the stockpile.

Seriously. Except I think we only have 30000000000000000 bandaids, all purchased with use-it-or-lose-it FSA funds over a couple years.

Great. Another thing that I have never even given a second thought but will now obsess over every time we have guests.

We have one of these in all our bathrooms. I want one of those. I have TP visible at all time - if not DH sits there and hollers for me to get it for him. But really I want one of those.

Yes, I do generally have an extra roll out. If I don't, they are in the vanity and easily accessible to anyone. Our only guests are generally family at this point, so it's not too big of a deal.

Yes, I have a wicker basket with 2 or 3 in generally. As a guest I find it reassuring to see them nearby And I wouldn't want to rooting around in people's cupboards should an emergency arise

We have three bathrooms and weirdly the two that aren't powder rooms have the TP on display. Maybe I subconsciously think guests will be smarter than my own family!

I have a holder from the container store...basically a piece of curved metal upright that I can load with up to three rolls. it sits next to the toilet.

Yes, one has a basket by the floor and one has a basket on the back of the toilet. Keeps me from having to worry about running out in the middle of my business.

No.. there are extras in the hall bath in the vanity.. I just think people know to look there. And the bathroom isn't all that big, so leaving it out would look messy.
I do want one of those holders for my bath in my bedroom though!! I like that.

Not on display, but in a cabinet.

I have a cute little white box that that has a little chalkboard tag that says toilet paper under the open sink cabinet in my powder room. I always check too, but at a busy party I want to make sure no one is left in a lurch.

If the roll is getting low and there's someone coming over then yes a new roll is on the counter. Otherwise no.
