I am thinking of starting to grow my own sprouts - mainly pea, mung bean, broccoli, arugula, and radish sprouts. Anything but alfalfa - they give me horrific gas.
Does anybody here grow their own sprouts?
If so, what method? Where do you buy your seeds? What are your favorites? How do you eat them?

I used to do this -- we just used two large glass Mason jars. I don't remember the details. Broccoli and onion sprouts were our favourite, but the only local place to buy the seeds stopped carrying them. Boo! (This was 10+ years ago when ordering online wasn't so easy, especially from Canada).

Haven't grown any in probably 30 years but if I remember correctly you need to be careful with mold. I believe they can get moldy very easily.

My mom grows sprouts in mason jars. I ordered her a sampler of 12 different sprouts from Amazon. I think it was around 17 bucks.

I found a really neat online site, then when I got to check out, it ended up that they were Canadian and couldn't ship seeds to the U.S.! I will add onion to my list - thanks!
