Not sure if Income Property airs in the US? It is a Canadian HGTV show. The host is rather good looking. He was actually a "People Magazine Sexy Man of the Week": Scott McGillvrayAnyway - we are sitting there watching, and there were 3 sisters looking to put an inlaw suite in so their parents could retire and be comfortable. One of the sisters had an 11 day old in her arms. Scott offered to hold her - OMG - I sighed, and commented how yummy that looked. My 17 year old is grossed out. And my DS asked what was gross....so I told him....LOL Now two of them are grossed out!

I routinely tell my boys that the celebrity crush of my dreams (and there are a few) would be my boyfriend if they only just knew me. They think I am weird and say "WE KNOW MOM" in that voice that only a teenager can whine.

I say odd things all the time to try to get to my ds. A few minutes ago I was cutting the last of his birthday cake. He is currently reading Tuesdays with Morrie for school. I was having a hard time getting his attention, and out of my mouth comes this sentence "HEY! You know what goes good with dead old men? Cake!" Not something I would EVER normally say, but it got his attention.

Let them be grossed out, so that you can have a happy smile.
I like watching HGTV.
Many years ago when Sue Warden had her show, my B&B was featured for making grape-vine wreaths.
Her whole crew came out to the farm and we cut a lot of grape-vines. Then a few weeks later, I went to the studio and helped Sue to make the wreaths. Even our little Shih-Tzu was on the show!

We have an ongoing discussion in our house on who is more swoon worthy, Bryan or Scott, especially when they post pictures with their kids.

I grossed out DD#2 today when I texted a picture of "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly" book. She hates the book. Then she let me know about a snowman version of the book and Thanksgiving, too. She's going to be 21 in a week or two.

Ha ha, good thing the chiro is not my type. But he does a fine job of crack-a-lackin' my neck and back so I keep going.

We would totally apply for Leave it to Bryan - if we lived in the GTA (and if I hadn't been on a stupid cake competition TV show - reality - that disqualifies me) I would be crushed to find out he isn't as funny & easy going in real life!

My 16 year old DD calls him Scott McGillibae! She was very jealous when he started following me on Pinterest.

I check monthly to see if either Bryan or Paul La France have expanded beyond the GTA - I love those shows and they look like they have a lot of fun. I too would be very sad to discover that he isn't as funny in real life! You must have watched Life of Bryan in the Sticks - I don't think I have ever laughed so hard during a home improvement show after he said "walls are full, balls are empty"! And they didn't edit it out. I didn't realize you could only be on one of those shows - is there a reason?

And they didn't edit it out. I didn't realize you could only be on one of those shows - is there a reason? On the HGTV page for casting for that particular show, it does say you can't have been on a reality show before. I'm assuming the Cake Walk show I did counts towards that. But that is a fairly new addition to their casting call - it wasn't there last year when I looked. LOVED In the Sticks - he is SO freaking funny! DH is very handy (built me my cake kitchen) and could totally do the projects we have in mind. But I think he and Bryan would be GREAT tv together...LOL - and honestly, the thought of totally gutting my master bath and making it what we want, scares me. Especially since DH can only do weekends/weeknights. It would take forever! My daughter's friend works at a bike/snowmobile/dirt bike place in Guelph, and she swears Bryan comes in. I told her she needs to take a selfie and tell him her friend's mom loves him....LOL

Yes, he shows in United States. And he is incredibly cute! I'm always amazed at the prices for a property. For the cost of one of them, you could buy two of mine! LOL

Well, I'm not sure you can view it in the US....and I'm horribly embarrassed by it. I came in last, my final piece was hideous. I KNOW I can do much better work!! But here's the link - I'm the one with the blue jacket: Cake Walk - French Flair Episode

Cool! I'm headed out the door now but I'll watch later if it lets me, and I promise not to hold anything against you. I've had my share of humiliating public experiences, too.
