I had a tattoo done this afternoon, on the inside of my forearm. It cost me $150 plus tip. It didn't hurt that much, apart from a couple of places nearer to my elbow crease. Its sore now, though

I have a tattoo on the back of my shoulder and it didn't hurt at all. The same day I got mine, my sister got one all across her inner forearm, and she said it hurt a bit near her wrist but nothing terrible. We're planning to go again this summer.. I have an idea of what to get, but not sure if I should put it on my other shoulder (where I can hide it) or on my inner wrist. In case anyone is interested.. I have "I carry your heart with me/I carry it in my heart/I am never without it". This time I'm getting "As long as I live, you will live/As long as I live you will be remembered/As long as I live you will be loved" with my parents signatures. (They've both passed away.) I know nothing about tattoos, so forgive my ignorance, please. When you get a wordy saying like that, does it have to be "big" so that it doesn't all bleed together. Not sure if that makes sense, but later in life, if it starts to feather, you still want to be able to read it. Or, if you go to a place that is good, the lines don't feather? I have a 20 year old attoo that I got from a cheap place. I did it on a whim. Didn't investigate my options. It looks like crap - green and fuzzy. I may be in the market for a tattoo one day soon. A saying is an option, but I don't want something huge. Mine is about 4 x 6, give or take. And I used a font that has fairly open letters, to keep it from bleeding together in the future. It's a simple font, not a lot of thick lines and looks really clear. As I start to deteriorate as I get older I'm pretty sure it will hold up. Link to the font I used I'm not sure I want one that big on my arm.
