Hey Survivors! Sorry that I didn't start the thread last week ... life got in the way I'm just happy that my Pea Pool dude, Joe, managed to stay in the game by the skin of his teeth Unfortunately, my BFF's Pool dude, Joachin, is gone ... he wasn't too bright anyway Here's what my DVR says about the episode tonight: "The Line Will Be Drawn Tonight" Alliances are tested as castaways adapt after the merge; castaways take part in a game of endurance in hope of winning individual immunity. That tells us a lot

Thanks for posting this now, because I forgot it's Wednesday! lolol...
I know I can watch it online, or on demand, but I like to watch it in "real time" with others so I can be in the discussion.

Squeal! ! I love a good blindside! Those blue-collars are just a little too confident. Especially Mike. He's just like so many Texas good old boys I know. Blech! I cannot stand him. I love Joe, I like the no collar girls, I even like Shirin a little more.... Mostly because I love underdogs. But they are definitely outnumbered, so they're going to need a lot of good luck if they want to survive.

Gosh, what an episode! I was so glad to see a blue collar go home. I want them all gone! I was si afraid that Jen was going to give the HII to Hali because I assumed Will went to the no collars and told them that the blue collars told him to vote off Hali. Luckily he did not, so Jen was safe, but sadly that meant Will went against them. Loved the puzzled look on his face when he realized he was the ONLY person who voted for her. But really, why DID the white collars go with blue collars? I would have went with the group with the (slightly) Lowe numbers so I wouldn't be less in the minority. Plus blue collar screwed them over before and they seem so obnoxious, stupid and unreliable. Love that the underdog no collars prevailed. Fingers crossed that some people change alliances next weekend.

Oh yeah, "Merica", how did I not respond to that. My 15 year old dd was watching with me and when Mike first suggested that name she said "omg, if they end up choosing that name I'm done with this season." Thankfully she didn't stick to her guns! ?

I was screaming at the TV when they were on the pole *HANG ON JOE*!! He is so adorable ~ as I've said every week. But damn, he's going to have to win every week to stay safe. Looks like Rodney turns against Mike next week. Merica.

I don't particularly care for Jen, but love how she played that. It was even fun seeing Shirin laughing. Loved Rodney's face. Again! I was trying to remember a blindside from last season and have forgotten the particulars. Someone played an idol at tribal, but not until they turned to the group and asked one of them if they had voted the way they had both agreed (I'm thinking it was two women). When the second one said that she had, the one w/the idol gave it to someone else and then turned the game around. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? I was trying to remind my son of it, but couldn't remember anyone involved's name or the exact circumstances. Age is taking it's toll on me.

Plus blue collar screwed them over before and they seem so obnoxious, stupid and unreliable. Love that the underdog no collars prevailed. Fingers crossed that some people change alliances next weekend. Yes to all Jackie said above. Why oh why did the white collars go with the blue collars? Makes no sense whatsoever. If I was a white collar I would have certainly gone with the no collar group-they had less people which meant me being a white collar person (I'm not actually, just supposing in this scenario) puts me up higher in the number order rather than closer to the bottom. White collar plus no collar would have still given us a numbers advantage over blue collar. Plus, didn't a white collar person say last night that a blue collar person screwed them over already so they didn't exactly trust the blue collars whereas they hadn't yet experienced any disloyalty from a no collar person? I thought I heard something like that. That's not 1 but 2 reasons for white collars to bond with no collars-I hope they get their brains (they are the one's with the brains right?) back next week. Will is a mystery. But then again, maybe not. He has no clue how to actually play this game, and just seems to be gullible enough to believe what people feed him as far as stories and lies go. Poor Will. I almost feel sorry for him. Horrible at challenges, and a terrible player as far as strategy goes too. How in the world did he make it this far? I love Joe. I picked him to win this season after the first episode and I do NOT want him voted out. But it looks like they all see him as a threat and are gunning for him. I was so relieved when he held on and won immunity last night. It's going to be tough for him to hang on for the rest of the season. I don't think he has a strong alliance like Malcom (spelling?) did with (what was her name? The woman that won that season. I can see her but can't remember her name for the life of me. Joe needs at least one strong alliance member or better yet 2 or 3, but so far I don't see any on his side-does anyone else? If he doesn't have that I don't see how he's going to hang on until the end unless he wins every single immunity alliance or starts finding a lot of hidden immunity idols-he hasn't found any yet either. Jenn did a great job last night saving herself at tribal. I loved the look on the blue collar faces when she whipped that idol out and the votes were read. The tribe name of Merica? I like it. Think about it-their tribe names were blue collars, white collars and no collars that were the red tribe. What do you get out of that-red, white and blue? America. You can't have a tribe name of America, so what's wrong with Merica? Is it really that bad? Think about some of the crazy, nonsensical names they've had in the past. At least this one makes sense. And I loved the flag they made with everyone's handprint's, and on top of the fingers it looks like they are the torches. Debbie in MD.
