Pain in the butt. Lol. But maybe it will get me some answers! About 6 months ago went to cardiologist with minor chest discomfort and episodes of "fluttering" did stress test and said unexplained quick heart rate. Ok. .. Well over months it seemed to subside...no real problems. Past few weeks it's happened off and on...then yesterday it was a few hours of hard "fluttering" and felt like I had to take a deep breath or cough to stop it. Went to cardiologist this morning and he put me on a 24 hour monitor to try and catch any episodes. First 3 hours it happened like 6 times so hopefully they'll read that. Said wants to rule out a-fib and mentioned could be PVC. Will know more in a few days. How I'll sleep in this I don't knoe..recliner probably. ....

I had a 24 hour monitor once, and I just laid it next to me in bed. I got more sleep than I thought I would, though I couldn't really roll over well, etc. Good luck with sleeping and with your results...

I had no problems sleeping with mine on. I wore a soft loose fit sports bra and clipped the monitor to it.

My husband wore one for a month. He just clipped to his pajamas and seemed to sleep just fine. His "fluttering" ended up being caffeine related. Problem easily solved.

I had to wear one for a month, hardest part is I had to disconnect the phone when I went into work (not allowed)..so had to go periodically out to my car every few hours. Sleeping wasn't a problem. A bit of a pitb..I was happy to be done with it when my time was up. Hopefully you get the answers you need.

I had to wear one for 96 hrs....grrr! It was a PITB to say the least. I didn't want anyone to know about it, & it was pretty discrete. It was winter so I could hide it better under a shirt & sweater. I hope they find your issue. I'm on a medication to keep my heart rate regular. I have many PVC's & the medication really helps. It lasts about 22 hrs, so right around 7pm every night I get that hard "flutter". Best of luck to you & I hope it's nothing.
