Do you love a man with ginger/red hair? Jamie in Outlander has red hair and is pretty much a perfect man My first choice is blonde (dh is a blonde ) but I'll admit that I have a total weakness for gingers What about you?

No. I've only met two attractive gingers in my life. In general I'm only attracted to dark haired men, and I prefer brown eyes though my husband has the bluest eyes I've ever seen.

I love Outlander and I think he is beautiful.
But it's weird...until This thread it didn't occur to me to see him as a redhead. I would have described him as having brown or sandy hair. I mean, now when I look at pics I see red, but I guess I just didn't think about it before.

My hair has toned down a lot but I had super strawberry blonde hair as a kid. I always loved red headed men but alas my DH is bald and what little he has left is salt and pepper. All that Sicilian blood in him I guess.

DH has reddish-blond hair. When I was in high school I had a crush on a guy with bright red hair. I thought he was adorable!

I've always loved red hair on women but not on men. There are some red headed guys that are gorgeous, but I don't find the majority extremely handsome. I like Prince Harry now that his hair has faded a lot. I'm also not a huge fan of blond haired men.
My favourite type of man are the Silver Foxes. Pierce Brosnan, Alan Alda, John Slattery, Anderson Cooper.
My dad had the deepest brown eyes, and I've always loved tall, dark and handsome.
Dh is a gorgeous silver fox. He's over 50% grey at 38. He does have blue eyes, but they change shades--when he gets amorous with me, they turn the most amazing navy blue.

I have loved a ginger.
First love was a ginger. DH has a ginger beard. That counts too right?
(DS has the most gorgeous strawberry blond hair. Every ginger girl I see is a potential wife for him. Must keep the ginger going, right?)

I prefer dark-haired men (my DH has the loveliest black hair) but if Damian Lewis or Paul Bettany happened by, I'd consider a fling! LOL.

My DH is one of those deep auburn headed men. Once he gets out in the sun you can see the red. My oldest DS has the same color but on a deeper scale. EXCEPT for his beard. He is my lucky leprchaun. In pics inside it looks deep auburn brown. You get that child in the sun and WHOA!! RED Ginger red!! Does that count as a ginger?
He's not a Jamie red.
And the funny thing is, I seem drawn to dark hair, dark skinned men in the movies. The watcher guy in The Mummy. Oded Fehr. Oh my, I might be having the vapors right now thinking of him....

When I was younger, I wasn't particularly attracted to red heads or Asian men.
Now, I've seen a lot of men in both categories that I find very attractive and have no such pickiness remaining.
;-p

I love red hair on a guy! Any shade is fine by me...
It's funny, cause my mum can't stand red hair on men but made the mistake of telling me this before I'd finished child-bearing, and now it looks like my baby DS may turn out to have a tinge of red in his hair! Ha ha. She may have to eat her words!
I also like dark brown, which DH has, but not blond or light brown, particularly.

Jamie is the exception to my rule. My 2 complete turnoffs in men are ginger and body hair (well, excessive body hair I guess I should say). More than a tiny bit of chest and ANY back hair grosses me out.

No, ginger is a turn off. As in, the guy could have the most gorgeous face and body on earth, but I won't even notice those features if the head is full of ginger/red hair.
Not too fond of blondes either. I like 'em tall, dark, and handsome.

DS has red hair and blue eyes. I don't know if he will ever be able to grow a beard. His hair has toned down quite a bit as he has gotten older. It was brighter when he was younger. Not sure how to describe it now-maybe copper?? I sure do think he is adorable. Older ladies always commented on his hair. I sure do hope there is someone out there that will find it(him) attractive. His own age of course Poor kid.

My DH is a ginger, but it has gotten a lot darker with age, except the grey around the temples. I usually go for tall, dark and handsome, but I married average, freckled, handsome, intelligent and funny

I'm a black hair, blue eyed guy woman all the way.
So of course I married a man with auburn hair (it was carrot red in his childhood) and brown eyes. Because in the end, there's a type and there's love.
