8 more Monday's till summer break. It's funny how they look at it.
We are looking forward to a summer by the pool, at the ocean or on the boat. Lots of late night fire pits, friends over, fireworks, boardwalk, movies by the lake & some day trips. I have a stack of books to read & some great lemonade recipes to try. Can you say relaxation.... Now to just get through the next couple of months.
What are your summer plans?

I wanted to post the two thumbs up smiley but I'm on my phone; but that's how your post makes me feel.
ETA: only plans so far are relaxing and doing stuff around the house. I have a ton of landscaping and handyman type stuff to get done. Hopefully I can get a bulk done before Summer starts.

I am hoping to spend more time at the family cottage this summer. It will depend, though, on how much time my boys will be spending working on the in-law's farm and in football camps.

We have 11 more. But who's counting.
I think that's when I'll hit my first 'regrets' about my new full time job. DD's 'last' childhood summer. But Ill get over it. And weekends will be great!

I kinda don't want to count 'cause I'm so far behind where I need to be with my students I'm having a mild stroke thinking about getting it all done before exams in June! We're planning on doing a lot more than usual this summer. We're going to visit my sil's new lakefront retirement home in NC. Very excited! Going to visit my family in Canada. Amusement park, beach, swim team, museums, walking tours and my most favorite activities: sleeping in and staying up late!

I'm with you, but our tests are in May. But once that's over, I'm looking forward to sleeping in and maybe getting the house slightly clean.

Our 3-8th graders in NYS get to suffer through ELA tests and Math tests these next two weeks. I teach HS and am SO far behind because of the number of snow days etc...UGH

We have 27 more teaching/kid days. Seniors have 20. I have 30 more total and then I am off for good. Seems a little weird.

My kids are testing right now. They spread it out over a month. I believe we have another six weeks or so; we get out right before Memorial Day. This summer I'll help my family throw a 50th anniversary party for my parents and we'll go visit our dd (probably in early august.) I'm hoping to have some fun with the kids this year, like instituting a Monday game day where they can invite their friends to come over and hang out for the day.

We have 7 Mondays not including Memorial Day and DD graduates June 4.
Might do at least one trip to the DD's college town 6-7 hours away before we drop her off in August (if all goes as planned).
Camping at the beach in July.
My 50th birthday in August and taking DD to college.
I'll be working this summer part-time but I'm usually home by 3, so I think it will be fine. DD will be working too and DS sleeps in. He starts band camp in early August.
I'm also hoping he gets to go up to see his former babysitting client. They flew him up to the San Francisco area for a week last summer. They havae a farm/vineyard and it's just a fun place to hang out with their young boy.

Seven more Fridays here. It will be so nice not to set and wake up to my outrageously early alarm clock!

I am registered for a summer class. But, it looks like present circumstances are going to force me to drop it.
Otherwise, no real plans. The way I am feeling now, I'm afraid that I will be sleeping the next few months away. The CFS is kicking my butt.

I'll be running my three girls around to various day camps and to swim lessons and swim team practices/meets. I'll also be running the middle girl to tutoring twice a week and speech therapy once a week. My oldest has a week of high school test prep classes. For the most part my summer will be spent in my car!
At night I'll have a drink with my husband on our back deck. I'm looking forward to that.

Today is our last Monday! We're doing our required standardized test this week and then we're done. We homeschool, so we can get through our curriculum much more quickly and then have a fun long summer.

Three more Monday's after today's, and the third is in finals week! Of course, then I get a whopping 6 days off before the summer semester begins. At least during the summer, I only teach online, so I visit campus maybe once a week, which makes me far less stressed. Our summer plans include a cruise starting in Barcelona. We can't wait!

After winter break we made one of those chain countdown things out of paper. We are down to 11 chains (we cut them off on Fridays) and one of those weeks is spring school vacation. We can't wait until Summer! It's a big year because it is my son's last year in Pre-k and he will be going to Kindergarten at my older son's school in the fall.
Celebrating no more large private pre-k costs! I am sure the money will quickly find a home somewhere else, but it will be nice not to have to pay that extra $400+ a month.
