Asian chicken and noodles. There is a chinese restaurant three blocks from here, so I might go grab soup or egg rolls or something to go with it.

Last time I made pioneer woman's chicken spaghetti, I froze a couple of individual portions for nights that the boy isn't home. Since I am alone tonight, I am having one of those...I just took it out of the oven.

DH grilled some plain and marinated steak tips. Delicious! We had potato salad and corn with it. Not one complaint from the kids which makes it even better right?

Hamburgers on the grill, corn on the cob, fresh slicked tomatoes and onions and potato puffs. Not healthy but great comfort food. I needed this tonight. Haven't had much of an appetite lately.

Tonite it's Knorr's Goulash served over homestyle egg noodles. And I forgot that I ordered Market Day's frozen biscuits and bought Pillsbury, so I'll have to use them. Nothing from scratch, but a yummy family favorite.

DH and I went a got a dozen crabs for lunch and picked those bad boys clean! That was at 2pm and I know in about an hour he's going to be looking for a heavy snack so I better get to thinking about that.
I'll probably run out and grab some milk and we can have some cereal and fruit in a bit.

We went out to Longhorn Steakhouse for dh' s birthday- he had a NY strip, my mom had ribs, I had prime rib, and ds had filet and lobster tail. I made a quadruple batch of meatballs earlier today, so we have six meals worth of those in the freezer ready to go.

I made homemade sweet & sour chicken and fried rice, as healthy as I could make it. I cut the sauce for the chicken in half and it was still plenty with half the calories! It was delicious and everyone loved it!

Were eating a bit late. I am roasting a chicken. Currently it's smoking my house up more than I care for, and my oven is a splattered mess. I swear I am better off just buying a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store.
We're having sautéed Brussels sprouts and a multigrain veggie blend from Trader Joe's on the side.

We were supposed to be spending the whole day out-of-town at day two of a state-wide soccer tournament. But after driving an hour-and-a-half through a heavy downpour to get there, it was announced they were calling the rest off just as we arrived. It took several hours before we could head home as we had to get a couple of kids passed off to others, but we did get home much earlier than anticipated.
So I pulled together a tried-and-true chicken casserole I can make in my sleep with simple sides of rice and steamed brocolli. Luckily, I had already made a decadent banana pudding last night (it's better if it sits a day first), so that's dessert!

DH is manning the grill tonight so it will be lamb pops, asparagus and corn on the cob. We ended up going to a Brazilian grill after the memorial service last night so I put dibbs on the leftovers because I'm not a fan of lamb.

Luckily, I had already made a decadent banana pudding last night (it's better if it sits a day first), so that's dessert! I think the universe is trying to get me to make a banana pudding-it seems over the last week, not a single day has gone by where I haven't had some one bring up banana pudding, saw someone eating banana pudding, saw multiple people in Publix buying their premade banana pudding.... I swear, it is everywhere. Of course, I do live in a banana pudding loving area of the country (the south) but it is SO in my face lately. I guess I just need to go ahead and make some.

I was going to make carnitas and mashed potatoes, but the boys went to the girlfriend's house and then my sister showed up with Nation's burgers, so that was dinner.
so - carnitas tomorrow. I'm headed out of town on Wednesday until next Sunday, so I'm trying to use stuff up, because I'm sure they will just live on fast food while I'm gone.

I took a pastry cookery class so we had homemade chicken, gammon and leek pie using a hot water pastry crust followed by lemon cream filled choux buns and a slice of chocolate and raspberry ganache tart. I made enough items that will hopefully keep us fed for at least three more dinners
