Tom Selleck comes to mind. Not too many others.
And I say this without any ick factor, but my FIL has always had a mustache and it's very well suited to his face. He had to shave it once because of a medical procedure and he definitely looks better with one.

No one, I not a fan. But, I do agree it would look very strange to see Tom Selleck without one.

Sam Elliott, Tom Selleck and DH. DS is trying hard, but just didn't inherit his dad's mustache ablility.

My dad. He shaved it off once, and even my mom had never seen him without a moustache. It was sort of creepy. He grew it right back.

Also, this man that used to live in my neighbourhood had an amazing orange handlebar moustache. I think he might have worked in construction or a trade. This would have been almost 20 years ago, before that kind of moustache was trendy and hipster. It was a very impressive moustache.

Oh, I forgot about my husband's uncle. He has a famous (for where he lives) handlebar mustache. He wouldn't be him without it.

Idris Elba in Luther He's undeniably hot, here and everywhere, but I *think* the OP is asking about a mustache and a mustache alone, not additional facial hair like he has here. I personally think many men look good with this kid of closely-trimmed stubble-beard situation, but very very very few look good with a mustache alone.

My dad shaved his mustache once and I was about 3 so I don't even remember. He never shaved it off again. I saw the pics from when he shaved it and he looked MUCH better with one.

My late DH and he also had a short well trimmed beard. I only saw him once without both the beard and mustache, he did NOT look like himself. He looked much better with both and was certainly good looking with the beard and mustache. Today would have been his birthday.

I'm sorry, birthdays and anniversaries are hard no matter how long ago it was. Hugs!

My DH shaved once and I just couldn't get used to how his face looked without the facial hair. It's been four years and he's only shaved it all off that one time.

My DH, other wives have commented on how great it is. He has just has always had one. He shaves it off on deployment to make the other guys jealous of how easy he grows it back. It is as much about him as his arm would be.

I agree about Tom Selleck and Santa Claus...
I don't think many other people do, because I personally don't like the look of facial hair on men.
BUT-- we watch Gold Rush, and Jim Thurber seems to 'fit' with a mustache. I think his mustache has it's own Twitter handle, or Facebook page, lol! (I believe they showed him clean-shaven once, and he didn't look right without it.)
Dave Turin also has a mustache / goatee combo that looks really nice.
Would I want either of them to kiss me with their facial hair, though?? nope.

I agree about Tom Selleck - looks better with one to me
I think Jeff Foxworthy and Alan Jackson both pull it off pretty good too.

See, even with the Tom Selleck. I never really understood the appeal with him, and then I saw him on a Friend's episode without a moustache and had to double take all... hubba hubba who is that? So, I think even Tom Selleck looks better without a moustache. I can appreciate the iconography of the moustache on like, small town cops and 80's actors, but I just don't like them.
