What I found does the most good is just to get into a taxi and go to Tiffany's.

I've had three painters in for estimates and all three recommended Benjamin Moore, either Regal or Aura. I have had bad experiences with Sherwin Williams not covering, so I won't use it again.

They also recommend two coats of any brand.

One more thing about Benjamin Moore. If it matters to you about shopping to support locally-owned businesses, then I'll just mention here that Ben Moore is almost exclusively sold in those kind of stores. There are very, very few company stores. They don't do franchises... the stores (like ours) are independent retailers.
