I haven't found any Chinese food I don't like - lol - but one of my favorites is shrimp egg foo yong, crab rangoons, fried rice and egg rolls. I also like the little hot rice noodles.

Twice cooked pork Black bean chicken Ma Po tofu (sp?) Spicy string beans Cashew chicken (I'm a cashew fiend)
And anything at the buffet near my Mom's place. I love everything there -- nice and fresh and hot. Yummy.

Veggie egg rolls Mongolian Beef MuShu chicken or vegetarian Mu Shu Pot Stickers ( ko te) Sizzling Rice Soup or WonTon Soup Steamed rice, either brown rice or white rice or both. We also get a fried prawn dish " Dry fried Sechuan Prawns " ( has a delicious sauce that's garlicky and tangy) We get sautéed vegetables - either asparagus or green beans- they add garlic and some other yummy things.

We order egg drop soup or wonton soup - both are fabulous at the restaurant we go to. Then we also order combination fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow mein. Then we will often rotate between one beef dish or one seafood dish.
We like to have leftovers to eat for lunch and dinner the next day.

Dim Sum almost every Sunday. Favorites are the steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed ribs, pork rice paste, Chinese Broccoli, steamed pork bun and the stuffed eggplant things (forgot the name). None of this is fried, well maybe the eggplant but it is all small portions so it is not too bad. But there are some dangerous things like the fried bacon wrapped shrimp, fried taro dumplings and the custard doughnuts which I usually avoid.

I'm not a huge Chinese food eater, there's a combination of spices that I don't enjoy. However, I really like sweet and sour tofu, rice, and a good veggie roll.

When we get take out I get crab Rangoon which is about as far from authentic Chinese food as you can get, but I love them. In sure my mother would be horrified because as she'll airways tell you, there is no cheese in Chinese food! We get won ton soup for my son, honey walnut shrimp Some sort of fried rice Noodles, rotating between lo mein and Singapore noodles, and some sort of meat like a happy family or dragon and phoenix, or spicy pork chops or peppered beef.
I love getting take out but for just the 3 of us or over $50 now!

My favorite is a combination meal.
Fried Shrimp Pork Fried Rice BBQ'd Pork Cashew Sub Gum Chicken Chow mien I like the Crunchy noodles on the side so I can add as many as I want. I always have left overs and hate the noodles when they get soggy. I also like the soup (can't remember the name of it. It is not the hot one)
I also like the sesame chicken and the Mar far chicken

At a Chinese restaurant - gai lan with sauce, chicken pan fried noodles, and dim sum items.
For Chinese food at home - congee, pork and egg stew, and drunken chicken soup.

I don't like fish, i don't like spicy, and I am not big on curried Chinese food. Otherwise everything is fair game.

I wonder if there is a spike in sales of our "top of conversations" on nights like this with the topic being food or newest, best thing (coloring books anyone?) cuz yeah, now I too wish I had Chinese and I just had tacos!

If I'm going to a nicer sit down place I like to get Kung pao chicken, salt & pepper calamari and egg drop soup.

We don't really have sit-down Chinese restaurants here (only buffets and the extremely rare sushi places). But, recalling excellent dinners in NY, I'd love to munch on the noodles with ducksauce (that used to tell me if the restaurant was authentic and good or bad!), then have steamed dumplings with hot sauce, a mai tai, either szechuan chicken, hunan chicken or kung pao chicken, and if it's a chinese/japanese restaurant, then I'd ADORE deep fried ice cream. Damn! I miss NY!

Pork lo mein Fried rice Egg roll Wonton soup
I love those fried wontons at the buffets but I think they contain shrimp, which I'm allergic to. I want to try to make these at home.

Sadly, I'm a bit of a fried food junkie when it comes to my favorites from our local take-out place---egg rolls, fried wontons, sesame chicken, and fried rice. They don't do Moo Shu there, but I'd get that now and then if they did.

Off the menu I like to get the Hot Crispy Beef and the pot stickers
Other places I like the Cashew Chicken, chow mein noodles, Kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, Bejeing Beef... I love Chinese food!
