Chicken Broccoli. It is like Moo Gai Pan, but just with chicken and broccoli. Yum!

I like singapore noodles, bok choi, dim sum, and potstickers. we are so lucky to have all kinds of chinese food here...I usually don't eat anything outside the bay area...as it is american version of something sort of asian...nothing I would recognize in town...and green onion pancakes... spoiled after living here and in hong kong. I like thai, malaysian and indonesian food a lot too.

Our standard order is:
Lettuce wraps Moo shu pork Eggplant in garlic sauce Orange beef Chow fun with chicken or shaved noodles with chicken (depending on the restaurant)
We sometimes sub in dumplings or cold sesame noodles for the lettuce wraps, and sometimes will get salt and pepper shrimp instead of the orange beef. We occasionally get Peking duck, but only three of us will eat it now, even if the servers make a huge show of assembling it table side.

We have a great Chinese resteraunt close to us that has a combo meal that includes fried shrimp, BBQ pork, egg rolls, crab puffs (and they are so good!), fried rice, egg flower soup and one main course, I get sweet and sour chicken and my husband gets general tsao chicken. They always through in spring rolls too. It costs 24.00 and we each get 2 dinners and 2 lunches out of it, or we have company and just share the 2 meals with 4 people. I love American Chinese food!

Mar Far Chicken is breaded and deep fried Chicken chunks Like sweet and sour Chicken but it has a red sauce that is not sweet or sour or hot. It is just a good sauce. I usually ask for the sauce on the side and use it more like a dip.

Shrimp Lo Mien, egg roll, egg drop soup- those are my go-to items for Chinese. DH likes beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and hot and spicy soup. I have yet to find the perfect Shrimp Lo Mien here in Colorado Springs. DD and I had some good lettuce wraps at an Asian restaurant, and we liked the spring rolls, too.

If it's our favorite local take-out, then it's Chicken w/Garlic Sauce. Every so often, I'll mix it up with the Happy Family w/garlic sauce. Happy Family is a stir fry that uses chicken, beef, pork, shrimp and sometimes imitation crab meat, but I find the sauce to be bland, so I ask them to use the garlic sauce.
If we are lucky enough to be going to an area with P.F. Chang's, then it's definitely Mongolian Shrimp, and we have to get the deep-fried green beans, too.

I don't eat at chain or chinese buffets. But when we eat chinese our must haves are steamed pork buns and chicken with ginger and spring onion. If its a restaurant then we often order peking duck and pancakes.

General Tso's and Crab Ragoon. I always try something new when I go, but I always go back for seconds for these two.

I always do General Tso and crab Rangoons at Chinese restaurants.
Now if we are taking Thai, I go for Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Garlic beef. And start off with a Thai beef salad with spicy cilantro dressing. YUM.

I like Mongolian beef, beef with Brocolli or mooshue pork. Sweet and sour shrimp or chicken is good too.
