Does anyone scroll past "a certain someone's" post? I find myself doing that more often.. or should I ignore? I like to read posts, but if they are long and rambling.. sorry. ..not going to read.

There is only one pea that I can't stand. Sometimes I read, sometimes I scroll by, and sometimes I roll my eyes!

If you never read it, just put them on ignore and move on.

I know what you mean..there's one pea that I absolutely can't stand..I just keep reading the thread and move on. Everyone has an opinion.
She's not worth my time to actually go through the process of placing her on ignore.

If you never read it, just put them on ignore and move on. How do you "ignore" I tried, but the person still shows up on threads. Please give me the secret.

What annoys you may not annoy me so we probably don't have the same list of people we avoid. I have no idea who YOUR "certain someone" might be. If someone consistently annoys you then yes, you should ignore them. No need to have started a passive aggressive thread about it. Just makes you look immature as though you can't make a decision on your own without the approval of those you consider popular enough to do the same as they do.

Click on their name above their avatar. Then click the gear icon to the right and select "block user" Make sure the box for "don't show posts" (or something like that) is checked. It is not checked by default. You have to check it. Then click the "block member" button at the bottom of that pop up box.

You also have to be logged on for your settings to be in effect. Sometimes I come here and see all of the posts without logging on.
I have only ignored one person here, and that is because her avatar skeeves me out. I notice that if I am not logged in, I see her posts/avatar. If I am logged in, then I don't.

I must be a narcissist because whenever these type of threads pop up I wonder if I'm the one on ignore.
