I just figured out a way to preserve entire multi-page posts into a single PDF from my computer. 1. Get PageZipper (I grabbed the Firefox extension). 2. Run the relevant thread through PageZipper's paces. 3. Print to PDF (I have a licensed copy of PDFill that comes with a 'printer driver' to print to a PDF file, but there are other ways as well). 4. Save that puppy somewhere safe!
If there's a need, we could start a thread for "important NSBR threads to preserve" and I (or a group of us) could archive them before the site goes away. We can worry about where to store them for access afterwards since time is of the essence for getting the information copied off.

I can't believe I never had read the first linked thread. LOL. I guess I wasn't hanging out that much in NSBR land back then. I do think that thread would be all about hashtags today though. :-)

An awesome *print-to-pdf* is CutePDF Writer. It acts just like a printer only it saves the pdf file on your computer rather than actually printing anything. I've been using it for years and love it!
Besides archiving funny threads, there are some that have special meaning to us individually. I was reading through my watch list yesterday and found the thread when my sweet boy Kellie died, when my son got his first job in accounting and when DH made his first hole-in-one. The comments were so dear to me on each of those threads that I knew I had to keep them.
