I drive with the radio on, work radio on. I have noticed lately when I wake up I have a song in my head, if I fall back asleep and wake again, different song. If you get a song stuck in your head just sing It's A Small World...and no you won't get that song stuck in your head but it does seem to work most of the time.

I've had "Zombie" by the Cranberries stuck in my head for a couple of days...have no idea why! I used to ask a co-worker to suggest another song if I had one stuck in my head for too long. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do

Yep, almost always wake up with a song bouncing around in my brain. But I sing and play guitar and mando and jam with friends, usually once a week, mostly old country or Bluegrass. My 19 ds is also a singer/guitar picker. Many times the song I wake up to is something I've heard sung at a jam or one I've sung harmony to, or a Beatles tune! Music has always been an important part of my life, and if I'm not singing, it's usually in my head.

Elanna. That song is the ring tone for my DH. I like the lobsters. Yes I do! Since I've heard this song this is what I hear all day. Mul Mantra

I usually have a song in my head too. I will often wake up in the night and have a song playing over and over. It's always just a few bars, and repeated constantly. During the day, I get to 'hear' more of it, but not always.

Also, if someone mentions a phrase that is used in a song, I connect it to that song and then that song will be in my head. I do this all the time. I work in retail, a specialized store so the customers are a little different than those at the grocery store, so I often sing a few a bars of a song when they say something that begs it. Nine times out of ten, I've read them right and they join in. Anyway, I always have a song in my head and am always willing to dance in public to the sounds in my head, much to the dismay of my kids. I wake up in the night unable to go back to sleep because a song is there. I feel like Ally McBeal some days. ETA: I read the article posted and I am hearing impaired, not completely deaf, but interesting, nevertheless to read the connections between the two things.

Try teaching in the classroom next to the music room in an elementary school. You are doomed to have kid songs playing in your head 24/7.

I do but not 24/7. I listen to pop Christian music all the time so it is my way of talking or praising God. Me too!!!!

I don't. I will have songs pop into my head inspired by a word or a phrase, but I think that having a song in my head 24/7 would be distracting.
