Have we had a thread yet? I absolutely loved this movie! Laughed the entire time. So many one liners, and the music was fabulous. Although I wasn't thrilled about the "you're my flash light" lyrics. I think of a flash light as something that gets me to the bathroom while camping.
Toby from Arrested Development! 42K Dave and Busters gift card, hilarious! Yesterday I had a musical show down with my DD she totally won. Wish I could have a sing off with you Pea singers. Snoop dog! Bear traps! And thought Fat Amy was hilarious!
I think this movie was better than the first but then again it's the first time I have done something fun in months. And BTW walking around a crowded movie theater in the dark when you can't walk strait to begin with is not a good idea.
Cant wait to see it again. Jen

I saw it with my girls last Friday. I did like it, but I still think the first one was the best! I agree about the flashlight song, I didn't think it was great.

DD said she did not think there as much singing this time. I loved the little "tribute" to the cups song. The lady from DMS scared me -- she was too much! Not a bad movie, but I liked the first one better. Also...do you think they totally set it up for a Pitch Perfect 3 with a new set of Bellas?

I never saw the first one or even heard of it but a group of girlfriends were going to go see 2 so I went along. I really enjoyed it.

DD & and I saw it last week and enjoyed it as well, I didn't like it as much as the first one but I can't really put my finger on why. I laughed and laughed, it was really funny so I'm not sure why I still like the other one better. I wasn't crazy about the flashlight song either, but I did like the 'legacies' showing up. I'll be honest, I had to wonder how the hell all those college kids had the money to fly to Europe?? LOL, I know I have to suspend reality, but still. I'm 41 and I doubt I'll ever make it over the pond...

Went to see this last week with my 10 year old DD, and we had a blast. I was miming along to most of the songs, and doing some chairdancing when they did the '90's Hip Hop Jamz' We both enjoyed it very much, and will be buying it when it's released on DVD. I was happy to see that there weren't too many sexjokes or fatjokes, making it very appropriate for my 10 year old. I liked how Fat Amy had a big part in this one, Rebel Wilson is amazing. Coincidentally we saw her being interviewed for a British tv-show the same night (Graham Norton show), and she showed him that she can actually handle nunchucks! Me and DD cracked up over that She is awesome! Also, the Asian girl is hilarious! And the woman playing the leader of the German choir is actually a Danish actress. I had no idea she could sing! It's just a fun movie. Filled with songs we all know and love and can sing along to. Loved it!

I went with DD14 last night and really liked it, but agree that the first one is better. There were a LOT of cameos and they just seemed so forced. Like Robin Roberts - why?

After the credits we got to see him singing John Legends 'All of me' on X-Factor, with the actual judges. It was funny!

i think the first and second are a tie. Both were great. DH said the first one was way better, but he laughed so much more during he second. I also think they set it up for a third. I enjoyed all the cameos. Especially the football guys.

DD1 and I saw it last Friday and really liked it. She thought this one had too many mash-ups, though. I think the first one was better-it was so original and this one seemed to reference the first movie a lot. Still loved it and bought the soundtrack.
