No... At least not yet... I always joked to my kids I was going to get a fish on my ankle since I already had the blue seaweed there. I would love Dorothy's shoes from the Wizard Of Oz, but only if they could be sparkly. I thought I saw a sparkly tat one day & ran over to ask how they did it when I realized it was new ink with Vaseline on it!

I don't have one, but have joked with my eldest DD (now 21yo) that I'm going to replicate the inverted treble and bass clef that form a scrolly looking heart that she got a few years ago.
Because seriously...what could she do? (other than get mad and either have her tattoo removed or edited to make it something else LOL)
Of course I'm kidding...she knows I'm kidding. But I still throw it out there every once in a while.

Met with a Tattoo Artist tonight for one of the next two tattoos. Tattoo next Wednesday evening. He sent me home to do more research on Tattoo No. 2, so I have to check the emails from my dad so I get the info correct. I took ideas in for both, but he said I need a different angle for the second one to look better.

Yep, I have 2 and both have meaning to me. This is my first one. The dove represents my dad who passed 14 years ago and the butterflies are for my kids. This is my 2nd one. My BFF designed it and we both got it. We had a falling out a couple of years ago and have since reconnected. Even when we weren't speaking, I didn't have regret for one second. I love it and constantly get compliments on it.

I don't but 18 yo dd has 3. The first one is across her thigh, 'carpe diem' and in Roman numerals of the day/year she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She almost died, so it's very significant to her. The second one is on her hip, of two line drawing cute elephants with a heart in the middle signifies her and her sister (who is on the spectrum). The 3rd is a brand new one on the opposite thigh, dream catcher with a rose in the middle. It turned out beautifully. Youngest dd drew it for her.

Don't have any but would like one. DH is not a fan of them so I have not done it out of respect for his feelings. If I did get one I would get the word "Breathe" on my left wrist. Because there are a LOT of times I need to remind myself to just breathe and things will work out. Also, I saw on the Peas board once that someone had their son's signature on her arm. I loved that and since our son passed away 11 years ago, I have thought about having his signature placed on my arm.

I got a Chinese dragon on my hip when I was 18 (I was born in the year of the dragon) A week later it needed to be re-colored. It still looked like crap. I got it covered up last year with my Lizzy girl, a leopard gecko. Then I had a cactus and flowers added going up my ribs. So I have no idea how many tattoos I have, one, two, three? All I know is I've been tattooed 5 times, lol. And the ribs were some of the worse pain ever.

Yes. I have a butterfly with a tiger face as the butterfly's interior design. I got it 15 yrs ago on the small of my back. I had no idea that placement was called a tramp stamp so I hate that, but I would never get one where it could be seen. Things I like about it - the design, the fact that it's not in a public place and I don't have to worry about others seeing it or covering it, the memory of having it done and the tattoo artist was very good. Things I don't like about it - I can't see it myself enough to really enjoy it, it feels like it was almost a waste of money due to the placement, I had it reduced too much and I wish it was a little bit larger, it's placed a little too low and it would be nicer to have it about an inch higher on my back, dh has a tiger on his arm so I like that they coordinate without matching or either of us tattooing each others name on our bodies

Yes. 5. My first one I got when I was in my mid 30's & is 5 stars on my wrist, representing my husband & 4 kids, each start is a different color that I feel goes with each one. I have a Taurus symbol on my foot, my husband has a Scorpio on his arm (25th anniversary). I have a snowflake & my brother's name in shades of blue on my neck & a small blue heart on my ring finger. I also have a set of pine trees on my upper arm. I love them all! I get the most compliments on my neck tattoo. It's a very pretty tattoo. They all hurt like hell & yes, I'll get more, I'm working on a half sleeve on my upper arm.
