I am debating ordering bulk hydrangeas and roses from Costco. I've read the reviews, majority of which are good. But I was wondering if anyone had some real world experience with getting flowers from Costco... not the ones in store but those that have to be ordered online.
Thanks.

You can order bulk flowers to be delivered to the store too....I haven't done it but I always see people picking up flowers that they have preordered and will presumably turn into bouquets or arrangements.
I believe you have to go in and speak to the people in that dept or call.

I have preordered a few table arrangements to pick up at the store, and it went very smoothly. The flowers I got were very nice quality. They have a toll-free number posted at my Costco, but the woman who has the concession is there often and is very helpful.
I'm assuming you're thinking about it for your wedding flowers, so I hope it all works out perfectly!

My brother ordered them for his wedding. I want to say that he ordered them online but picked them up at the store?
Anyway, the flowers were gorgeous and a great price. We were doing very simple arrangements so he saved a huge amount of money over a florist. They did different flowers in each table and used an assortment of Hydrangeas, lilies and daisies with various greens.
As long as you have time, do a trial run and order a few to make sure. Costco is one store whose services have never disappointed me. Maybe I have just had good luck, but they have always met or exceed my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them.

I didn't order from Costco but I ordered bulk flowers for my wedding from Sam's and was VERY happy with them. We ordered bulk calla lilies from them for a work event and they were gorgeous.
I don't think you will have any issues with ordering from Costco, I've heard very good things. You just need to make sure you order them enough ahead of time for them to perk up (if they are shipping them to you without water, they will be wilted) and you have enough buckets and water for everything. I did roses for my wedding so I set them to deliver on Wednesday for a Saturday wedding so they would be opened and they were perfect.

The arrangements I want/need are very simple and something I can easily do myself with a little help from a couple handy dandy assistants so I don't feel the need to pay vendor fees for what I want. Most of what I've heard is positive, so that's a good thing. Thanks.

I'm planning on having them delivered Wednesday for Friday wedding so I hope it works out well. I'm not ordering the full amount for a trial but I definitely have to order some to finalize what I am going to do. Thanks.

yes for my wedding, it did not go well. They were said to have a certain inch when bloomed but I got a lot of buds that never opened. I had to rush around the day before the wedding searching for flowers with my MIL, good memory with her I can look back and laugh about now but horrible when it was happening. That is my 1 regret of the wedding planning

My original plan was to attack the grocery store florist so I may go with that idea as well/instead. Glad it worked out for you.

My friend is getting married tomorrow and received her flowers yesterday, I stopped by to help. They forgot to ship one box so she was minus 100 roses. It came direct from Bogota so it couldn't just be rushed the next day. The white roses to me are actually green. The hydrangea looked wilted, not sure if they will come back to life. The roses have thorns on them so you will need gardening gloves to handle and a dozen buckets of water to hold them.

Well, about the roses I have suggestion for you. Purchase Bulk roses straight from the farms, you will cut the middle man or traditional flower markets where the flowers are stocked for a long time before they are in your hands. There is a company that I’ve worked with and the roses are from Ecuador, I get them direct from the farms in only 3 days, you will save tons of money with this Farm-to-customer system, you can get roses for les than $1, The company is called Magnaflor, here is their website: magnaflor.comIf you want the best possible customer service you can ask for Sofía

melwill34422, you have just bumped a two year old post written by a woman who has since passed away just to shill for your company. I am certainly not going to use your services now. I suggest you find a better way of advertising in the future.

I thought that you were referring to buying the flowers at the store itself. I was going to add that I bought a lot of flowers there (twice) for my wedding (7 years ago). I made all of the bouquets, table settings, etc., out of them and they were beautiful. I hope you have as much luck in ordering the bulk flower online!

This was a thread started by Grinning Cat from 2015. She passed away. The person who bumped this did not bother to look at the age of the thread. I am sure that I'm not the only one who saw the thread creator and thought for a quick second her death wasn't real and she posted. Don't bump this anymore please.
