I also have to wait for the weekend but I'm definitely going to give it a go. I've been pinning some layouts on Pinterest lately that you could easily do with scraps so I've got some ideas floating around the old noggin.

Well, I managed to get my layout completed today. I have sent my request to join the Flickr group and am just waiting for a response. I did well using my stash and following the rules. GO ME! LOL. I used all scraps (strips), I used a die to cut a half circle for the title, used the washi tape, ink, journal/PL card, something from my last purchase (best ever glue, so you can't really see it). Hopefully when the Flickr thing goes through I can figure out how it all works! I'll post this back in the original challenge post on the scrapbooking board too.
Hope you are all having some fun playing too.

Thought I would try attaching the pic here while I wait for the Flickr thing to go thru. I hope it works. It's a Pinterest inspired layout. Not sure of all the papers because they were scraps but I think some were Bella Blvd and maybe Imaginesce (sp?). The letters were Thickers. And the subjects were my lovely furry friends Tilly & Lucy.

I'm glad you could play along!

Here's my version for this challenge: Stella & Ray's weddingI used everything except washi/ribbon from the list and love how this turned out although my scanner has blown out the colours a bit.

I'm not in the Refugees group yet so for now I'm just posting here. I got a little crazy with the embellishments but it was fun! The scraps I used were the blue glitter paper, the pink xoxox paper, and the white and gray strips (which were branding strips from an old Webster's pages line). The thing from my most recent purchase is the wood veneer which came in my May Citrus Twist kit as well as the stamp that says "Happy" which is stamped in pink Ink (I also inked the edges of the photo and Project Life card with the same pink ink). I think the only punch that I used was the circles in the blue glitter paper and top cluster. Ribbon was the pink ric rac and there is a touch of white and pink Washi on the top as well as covering a chipboard button in my bottom row. ETA...I can't get the photo to work. I'll try to edit again later.

I love it! I have many imperfect photos from the past but I love them all and I have no problem scrapping them. Life isn't perfect so why do all our photos have to be? Right? I love your use of colour. Black and white photos leave so much room for fun I think. Thanks for sharing. Oh.... And I got my layout uploaded to the gallery!

I hope it works, I can't wait to see what you've created. I'm still fighting with Flickr but did get a pic up....at least I have a few weeks to figure it out before the July challenge! i loved everything about your page (funny because that's what the page says but true!). I love the paper combo, and the perfect ink splats! nitad , I love your doggies and sense of humour! You did a fabulous job with that layout...the embellishment groupings really work to pull your gaze around the page!

Another great one Chinagirl828 . I love the colour combo. I'm pretty sure I still have some alphas that coordinate with that orange paper! (I think one of our challenges should be to scrap with product inspired by another participant in the challenge!!)

I am on a roll so here's another layout from me: oh hello loveI used everything except washi/ribbon and I mostly used scraps but I did cut into one 12x12 and one 6x6 but I also used one of the oldest scraps from my stash (seriously, it was like second from the bottom in my drawer).

nitad I like all of the paper strips and your fur babies are adorable! Super cute! Chinagirl828 Stella & Ray's Wedding. I like the layering of the border punched strips. Wonderful layout! And.. A Fear of Photos: This is just a fun layout that I think everyone can relate to either as the person or having a person like that in our lives. I like the stamped cameras and journaling strip journaling. alittleintrepid I am totally digging the border strip on the bottom with the wonderful embellishments! I totally want to do that now! Guess I need to get going on this challenge.

Woo hoo I found a couple really old stamps these are more than 12 years old. A cute paw print and a dog bone. Perfect and my photos are now on my computer. Now I just need to figure out what other old supplies I am going to use

This is my layout, sans photo (I'm taking a family photo today for this lo). I just need to add the photo and journaling.
FYI: although the owl, acorns, butterfly and dragon seem random, they actually represent each family member and I frequently will put the corresponding item or another item that is still representative on a page about the person.

can't get the photo to come up. I'll have to go read through the how to later. Now I have to go celebrate my dd 10th birthday!!

LisaDV , I didn't think the layout seemed random at all.....they all seemed to go nicely together. I'm pretty impressed that you could create the LO without them photos in place. Great job! I like the colour scheme and all the layers..I like when pages have lots of interesting things to look at so the symbols of different family members is right up my alley! Scrapper100 , did you get chance to scrap about your son's dog? It sounds like a fun page in the making!

Everybody's projects look so great! I wish I could have completed some more but we are having a bit of a heat wave here and my craft room is the hottest room in the house. I have been avoiding going in there for any reason. I also wanted to say thank you for all the nice comments. I can't wait for the July challenge...hope it cools down a bit so I can get back in my room!

This challenge had me searching through my scraps, which as I was reorganizing I put a little basket to the side for paper scraps and I have a couple of spots where scrap embellishments go (only because they haven't been put away yet and I haven't consolidated it all into one spot), but I have a box of stuff that wasn't put away as well and it had many scrap items - paper and embellishments. I think I'll need a bigger basket.
So how do you store your scrap paper and scrap embellishments???
