I took my boys (10 and 6) to see it and we all loved it. I thought it was a perfect combination of funny, sad, exciting, and had a great message. I definitely recommend it! Anyone else?

The previews for it don't look interesting. So we are skipping it and waiting for it on DVD. I might change my mind because it's getting good reviews. But I'd love to hear the RefuPeas reviews...they're more credible than those movie critics anyway!

It looks really cute. We're planning on taking the God-kids next weekend if it gets good reviews. Hope to hear what others thought of it.

We loved it! But cried too, we moved from our home in New York to just across the Golden Gate Bridge so I identified with the chaos/sadness of moving. Loved the shots of the city as well as some of the humor centered around it!

My 9 yr old DD saw it today and said it's a nice movie but sad in some parts.

Just walked in from the theater... I took DD (6) and we both loved it! DD has anxiety so it was is a great movie for her to see. She took a liking to "Fear". We enjoyed it thoroughly and only found one moment in particular that yanked some heart strings.

Our newspaper movie critic gave it 4/4 stars so it's probably very good. I always like Pixar movies anyway so I'm sure I'll like it. I'm not sure if we'll see it in the theater or not even though I know I would personally really enjoy it, but when it comes out on BluRay I'll absolutely buy it so I can add it to our movie collection on our iPads.

We took my 8 year old son and we all enjoyed it. I agree with the comment about only one moment that may have been sad. It opened up a great discussion about memories etc. for the hour long car ride home. My son was so interested in how memories work.

I haven't been to a movie in the theater since Dances With Wolves. Yes when it first came out. Just not my thing.
But DH had been reading the reviews & wanted to take our daughters (16 & 11) so I indulged him for Father's Day & we drove up to the city & went to it this evening. I started crying about 10 minutes in & didn't stop . We talked about the messages from the movie all the way home. My 16 yr old is fascinated by psychology and "how the brain works", so she especially enjoyed it.
I could have done without the one scary sequence, but I suppose all movies have to have a scary sequence.
I would definitely recommend it (and remember I don't "do" movies), especially for a group who is going to have discussion later.

We loved it. My dh said it wasn't that funny to him, but that he really enjoyed it.

We saw it on Tuesday as a special preview (and I now am encouraging my younger daughter to work for Pixar someday ) and all three of us (myself, 22yo daughter, and 14yo daughter) loved it. Although I agree with Jennifer C's dh in that it wasn't as funny as I expected but still very enjoyable. My mom went with my younger cousins (5yo and 4yo) and the 4yo got bored and wanted to leave about halfway through so warning to those with younger kids that it's a bit slow in parts for the younger crowd that may not get some of the storyline. We loved Lava too!

My Facebook feed is BUZZING with great reviews from my friends about this movie. It never occurred to me to go and see this movie – but literally, at least five friends saw it today – and they all LOVED it. So maybe I will go see it…

I want to see it. My boys at 13 and 14 don't DH doesn't either. He doesn't care much for kids' movies. I guess I'll just rent it on my own then.

We saw it on Thursday - it's pretty good. I'd see it again. It doesn't top my other favorite Pixar movies, but it's still worth seeing.

I am planning on taking the kids because they want to see it but based on these reviews now I'm looking forward to seeing it too. Thanks!
I forgot about the shorts. These are what I love about seeing cartoons in a theater.
