Maybe I'll take DS4 to it, between basketball camp for DS13 and traveling for DH we'll have a lot of alone time in the coming weeks. Is 4 too young for this movie? He enjoys movies in general and is almost 5, but slightly immature (the beauty of being the baby, he gets babied a bit )

DD 12 and I saw it this afternoon. She had been wanting to see it since we saw previews in the theater a few months ago, I really did not want to. I went because she wanted to and was pleasantly suprised- liked it One thing that dd and I both loved was how dramatic and excited all the little kids in theater were. It was adorable watching them and hearing their comments, seeing them crack up

Yes so cute! My favorite parts were all the interactions of the voices. So many good lines in there.
I do think it was a tiny bit too long but overall really good. My 3.5 nephew was getting a bit antsy but he did like it except for the clown.
Loved the end where you could 'see' the voices of thr dog and cat. So funny! And the teenage boy during the movie...'warning, girl, girl'! Lol!

I am very much looking forward to seeing it. I love the idea behind it and the message of it. It is getting such wonderful reviews. I just want to wait until after Father's Day weekend to go, which is why we haven't seen it yet.

DD(9) and I have wanted to see it ever since we saw the preview a few months ago. She has had some emotional struggles and it really interests her. I found the cutest little activity book at the grocery store link - it's a little young for her but I think she will still love it.

I took the kids son is 11 and daughter is 31/2 to see it Saturday. My son thought it was good. My daughter wasn't too interested in it, I thought the storyline was a little "old" for her to really understand, overall it was good.

We all went to see it for Father's Day. Everyone loved it! Such a sweet movie! I'll admit I teared up a bit at times.

I'm out here on vacation visiting my DD3 and her boyfriend (Whom I refer to as Darling Son C (C meaning his first initial. I was a little hesitant at first but one of my teacher friends said it gave her lots of good ideas for her classroom. So we went. We all loved it. Both of my kids are 21 and thought it was hilarious. We wondered if the young kids would really get it It is kind of complicated and some of the jokes may sail right over their little heads.
I want to see it again.

I thought the premise was very cute. That being said, the storyline was about a 45 minute movie that was stretched into a lonnnnnngggggg movie. By the end of the movie I was ready for it to end.

I thought it was good but not great. Maybe hearing all the early buzz about it led me to expect more. I certainly didn't think it's one of Pixar's best. The quality of the animation was wonderful but the storyline, for me, was just meh. I did appreciate the fact that there was a kids' storyline that they could follow and then all the nuances of psychology that were more geared to parents.
Truthfully I liked Lava more than I liked Inside Out.

Thought it was a lovely movie!
I had thought the previews were cute. I went because dd was dying to see it and it was one of her very rare days off. I was not expecting to be quite as enchanted with it as I was! We stayed until the very end of the credits, hoping for an easter egg. There was none. There were some right away but nothing at the end.
The short, Lava, was sweet.

We all liked. And stay for the post-credits scene. So many people missed them and they were worth seeing little extras.

I'm in the liked it, but didn't love it camp. I was really looking forward to it from the previews I had seen months earlier. I think I had predicted a different storyline in my head-lol. I did think Lava was fantastic.
Took my 7 year old ds and he leaned over to me about 1/2 thru and said "I thought you said this would be a really good movie. "

We liked it, but didn't love, love it. It was my 3 year old's first movie and she actually stayed in her seat nearly the entire time!

Not really post credit but during the credits (first couple of minutes) they showed other's emotions in their head. They explore the emotions of some of the film’s other characters, and even random animals. They include Riley’s teacher, the emo pizza girl, one of the cool girls in Riley’s class, the bus driver, a dog following a guy eating pizza, and a cat.

I'll be the dissenting vote. I didn't like it. Can't go into details I don't want to spoil it but just didn't leave with a good feeling.
