I love having the time while I'm off in the summer to paint my nails frequently. During the school year they are often bare. I always love seeing what everyone is wearing.
I'm currently wearing Royal Hue by Sally Hansen. DS picked it out for me this morning to use and I love it! The polish is actually a lot more purple/blue than the photo shows. A true periwinkle. Too pretty!

On my fingers: Short French and I love it. Wear it year round. On my toes, neon green but I just noticed a chip so need to change it.

I just had my nails done this afternoon. I like a nice French tip on my fingers. My toes are a bright pretty orange. I can only stand to have my toes painted (by me).

Salon Perfect: Plum Sorbet
It's not an accurate name in my opinion since it has no purple shade to it. It's very much a neon pink that dries to a matte finish. The photo above shows it with a top coat finish which is how I'm wearing it on my nails and toes. It requires 3 coats of color.

IBD Just Gel Dockside Diva. I put a cute little white bow sticker on each ring finger. I usually go for bold, bright colors so this neutral is a big change and I actually really like it. I'm not getting tired of it like I usually tire of my polishes. I'll be changing it within a couple days though to do red/silver/blue nails for the 4th of July.

Nothing..and I hate it. But I'm so sick of chips and then I bought the Gelish system and that just peels off my nails.
I'm challenged I believe.

Purple French tips except for my ring fingers, which I wanted Tiffany blue, but looks scrubs green.
I'm going back to white French tips later this week.
On the toes a bright pink.
Sabrina, I love periwinkle! I'm pondering that color in a lighter tone for the wall behind my bed.

I just told my DS that his dad and I were thinking a shade or two lighter than my nails for our bedroom walls too.

Bright pink...but, I can't remember the name. Something similar to what Conchita posted above.

Nothing. I had to take my toe and finger nail polish off for surgery 2 weeks ago and now with my arm in a sling I can't redo them! My granddaughter will be here next week and I am hoping she will do them for me.

Are you remembering to buff the shine off your nails to prep them for the gel polish? I started doing my own gel last year and find that while Gelish is not always the best, a lot of my problems are due to me not taking the time to do proper prep work. IBD Just Gel sticks the best to my nails, followed by Gelaze, then Gelish, then LeChat and OPI. I did start using the Gelish Pro Bond too and that makes stuff really stay down. So first I prep (file nails into shape, file off shine, remove cuticles) then do the pH bond, then Pro Bond, then foundation layer, then color layers, then top coat. Hopefully you will eventually find a gel product that works great for you!

OPI Bubble Bath
It's a very pale pink. I love it because it's just barely there, but not my yucky natural nails

I just took off the white French tip polish and am bare at the moment. I had a mani/pedi a while back and still have OPI's We'll Always Have Paris on my toes.

Nothing right now but tomorrow going to do a gel polish at home. Maybe red? Or maybe a bright blue...not sure yet.
My go to gel polishes are: Orly, Red Carpet, Gelaze and then Gelish. Love the Orly brush and its also great because you can get the marching regular nail polish for your toes.

I just did my nails tonight. Essie's Chinchilly. A really nice, soft grey. I do my fingernails every 2-3 days (not because they chip - they don't- but because I love changing it up). My toes only get done very 3 weeks or so.

Zoya's Leslie. It is a metallic lavender with a turquoise flash. Sadly, I am already itching to change it. I think I will wear Sunshine for the 4th.

My nails are bare, but I'll be doing a french manicure on them tonight. My toes have this color that came in either Ipsy or Birch Box this month (can't remember which one). It's Formula X "Power Source."

I don't remember the name, but it's by Essie and it's a teal color. I tried the Essie "gel" topcoat for the first time (found it at Target). Painted nails on Friday, still no chips today. Took a little longer to dry than Steche Vite (sp), so I have some dings here and there from that first night.

My finger nails are bare because I chew them. Still trying to break that habit. My toe nails however, are BLACK with a silver glitter topcoat. LOVE it! Usually they're lime with silver glitter or pink with silver glitter. The glitter keeps it from chipping off.

I treated myself to a shellac manicure with color #3. LOL. I have no idea what it's called but I like #3.
