With the summer months ahead I am wondering if anyone is still crafting? I managed to finish this quilt for my ds for Christmas and with the warm weather I am questioning if I will get anything else done in the next few months. I still have one more quilt to make for a Christmas gift but I don't like sitting inside when it's so nice outside.
What about you, have anything to share? I just love seeing all the fun things we crafty peas make.

Awesome quilt! I love the colours. I've been scrapping while home alone for a few days. Right now I'm writing. I love writing but find I need solitude, which is pretty rare for me these days.

Wow! That quilt!! As for me, I am taking off a few days here at the 4th of July holiday and I'm doing some sewing projects. I have taken some garb construction jobs that could be quite labor intensive so I will use at least 2 days of my time off on that.

Nice!
I am working on finishing up the quilting on a pink quilt for a little girl.
After that is a set of 4 kitschy placemats for a friends kitchen.
I'll post when I get the quilt finished.

I bought a panel of fabric a long time ago , with plans to make a wall hanging for my hubby to put in his garage.
It is a piece about tools, and the words fit a "few of my favorite things" songs.
I decided to it would get to dirty as a quilted piece, so I mod podged it a canvas. It is now in the garage waiting to be hung.

No crafting yet. I have been spending all of my productive time decluttering, preparing/having a huge garage sale (still in clean up mode), and getting ready for a going away party tonight at my house. My scrap room is calling me. I am shutting the door.
I love the pattern on the quilt. It is unusual and it is now one of my favorites.

That is beautiful, Dictionary! I love the color combo and the pattern is a perfect one for a guy! It looks nice & masculine with your color and pattern choices. Love it! Will you adopt me, please? Here's a layout I finished the other day. I had been looking for this 6x6 paper pad and a sweet fellow refupea found it and sent it to me! I was inspired to use it right away. I'm working through Jen Schow's 6x6 paper pad class on YouTube and this is a lift of her video #4. I turned mine into a double pager because I had a lot of photos I wanted to use. These are all of DS playing with trains over the last couple of years

Yep...I have finished a few pieces that I am trying to figure out what to do with. I may make them into small wall hangings, or fronts for cards, or...just don't know. Similar to this: (bad camera photo, and an unironed, wrinkled mess LOL) Next thing I am going to do is some of these: tissue holders I have no clue why, but I am feeling like it would be fun.

anxiousmom that is cute! What about making it into a decorative pillow? The whole thing is smaller than 5x7, so maybe not a pillow...but it would be a good idea if I did a similar design but on a larger scale. I didn't have anything in mind when I made them, so they are going into the 'finished it but don't know what to do with it' pile.

That quilt is beautiful!
I'm working on a project to give my husband for our first anniversary on Saturday. Something with paper hearts, I'm still trying to work it out in my head.

Love that quilt. It's not often you see something that says masculine.

Lovely quilt!
I take the summer off from crafting, mostly. I finished a quilt at the end of May and won't likely start another til September or October. In the summer I do a lot of gardening and triathlon training. Our summers are pretty short so I make the most of them!

stittsygirl that doll house is awesome, such detail anxiousmom I love that little chickadee..ITA a pillow would be so cute, you could block it with some fabric if it wasn't quite large enough. Thank you for all the love everyone.

I'm hopping around a little bit. I'm using the Project Life app to make scrapbook pages of our recent trip to Colorado. I'm cutting up old jeans into squares for various projects. I'm sewing baby burp cloths for some babies in my church ward. And I'm cutting up felt to make some quiet toys for church. Merilee

The quilt is stunning Dictionary and the little bird is darling anxiousmom. alissa103 those are lovely pages. I need to do our Spain trip and I've been to the UK since that trip so I guess I have two albums for us and I told dd I'd help her with hers too stittsygirl OMG!! You have patience. I don't think I could do that. I've been making wrap bracelets, beaded bracelets and I'm working on a fleece quilt for a grand-niphling (Niece or nephew, not sure yet) who is due in 2 days!! I don't think the quilt will be done in time for a baby gift but my niece will understand. I should be crafting not peaing, lol

I love all these projects. Such talent.
I just bought a big ass canvas to create a big ass painting for over my sofa. Its blankness is intimidating me from the other room as I type. I have about 5 weeks of free time this summer to do conquer it.
