Ugh!
Somehow gum got in my wash today and it's on a few pieces.
I've pulled off what I can, but there's residue.
Any tips to get them off? I'm worried about putting them back in the wash as is.

It happened to me not long ago. Goo Gone worked for me. Dab it in the gum, let it sit for a bit, scrape off what you can, then scrub with a rag dipped in more goo gone.

I have had this happen and I used peanut butter then ran hot water over the spot and I also have wet the item and froze it then the gum chipped right off. I never tried goo gone but that seems like a good idea too, much like the oil from the peanut butter.

That Grandma's spot remover works well on grease stains. It might help.

WD40. Spray the gum and scrape it off with your fingernail. Repeat until it's all off and then wash again. Works like a charm for me everytime.

I would go the freezer route before putting the chemical/oils on my clothes...I would be worried about fumes in the dryer and if they were flammable.

warm up some white vinegar. Dab/pour on gum. Use a toothbrush dipped in more vinegar and scrub it off.
