If anyone is at the Vancouver, WA store they have the little Doodlebug letters, the embossing folders, the Heidi Swapp puffy stickers and the Pebbles puffy bee stickers and the 6 by 6 paper pads. I didn't see much/any ephemera packs. They did have a few Tim Holtz dies and a lot of letter stickers. I would like to say that I hate the paper racks they have in my store. They are stuffed full and up high. I'm short so I have to stand on my tip toes to pull things out to look at them and they wobble so I'm always afraid the whole rack is going to fall on my head. Does anyone else's store do this? I'd prefer to search through piles of paper packs... I didn't think there were any TM in Vancouver, where is it?

It's on the west side, just off of I-5, by the exit 4 (78th street) exit. It's in the same parking lot as Safeway but at the other end closer to Ross and Round Table.

Yah, we had the DIY Shop items, too -- I thought the chalkboard banners were intriguing -- but I went in there for 12 x 12 paper pads. That's always my Holy Grail. My store's paper racks are pathetically thin at the moment. Perhaps this means next week we'll see a restock?! (This is why TM is like crack. It's all about the anticipation and the unknown for me.) All three of mine have been pretty weak in the 25 packs and the pads too. Lots of chalkboard stuff though.

I am a little embarrassed. I bought the mother load of doodlebug stuff yesterday. The same alphas as another poster put up, but in every color they had as well as some cute brads packs. I spent $68, it's the most I've ever spent for sb supplies at TM. I'll post a pic when I get home. Lol! I don't blame you a bit - it was all very cute! So many great colors, so many possibilities!

Now guess where I'm going to have to go tomorrow after I drop off DD for her last day of summer activities? And I'm scrapping this weekend so I might actually use some of it if I do buy something...

I was in our yesterday and they had refreshed Tim Holtz supplies. I bought a couple of 12x13 metal collage sheets. One is license plates, the other a ceiling tile pattern.
They also had more chalkboard supplies, banner pieces, and tags. I don't remember the line- maybe AC?
The autumn decorations were fantastic. I didn't buy anything, but I enjoyed seeing them. Surprised me, I must be ready for a change! They were setting up Winter and Christmas. I fell in love with a thigh-high vintage looking paper mâché snowman. Too bad I don't have room for him, unless he becomes my fake HOV rider.

After the enticement of potential Doodlebug at TM, I couldn't stand it and I had to go! I convinced myself I needed one of those big pink AC cutting mats for my own desk (I bought four new black ones for my work tables a few months ago), so that went into the cart. Scored a 6' x 18" Surface Saver (a/k/a splat mat) for $14.99, that was a no brainer since I'm getting sick of having to clean marker, crayon and glue stick that DD keeps getting all over my newly retopped work tables. Got 9 colors of the Doodlebug Boutique flower brads, one pack of small Prima flowers, a Momenta embossing folder with big and small polka dots, two 3-packs of Spellbinders edge dies to make scallops and lace edges, a pack of the AC wood veneers in the heart and arrow shapes, a pack of Momenta super skinny pink metallic alphabet stickers, a LYB Advent Calendar kit, and two packs of double sided cardstock (Imaginisce princess castles and Pebbles heart shaped sugar cookies). With tax, it was $75!!! Which would have been bad, except I used a $50 prepaid Visa card that we got for some rebate I sent in that DH was ignoring, so I'm calling that guilt free money.

crazy4scraps, don't' think of it as spending $75... think of it as saving $100s over what you would have paid for those things at full price, lol!!

I am seriously rethinking the alpha/number things. I really like a jazzy brad though.

Do it, you will get the best looks and the double takes are awesome! I purchased Bob there last year and had him up front in the seatbelt for the long ride home. So much fun

wagleg I love the translucent alphas! How do you attach them so it doesn't show? crimsoncat05 I like the way you think! I try that on DH all the time. Yeah. No.

I should go back and add up all of the MSRP prices on the tags. It probably was a savings of hundreds! I think the splat mat alone had an MSRP of $50. Crazy!

wagleg, you found some great stuff!
I was about 10 minutes from a TM today but wasn't able to stop by. I really wanted to look for Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine ephemera packs but it'll have to wait.

I was in my TM in Hixson TN last week and there is nothing new. I did buy a new dog toy for Scout though. Oh please, oh please, oh please let there be new scrappy goodness this week!

Mine had about 30 packs of Graphic 45 lines. Mother Goose, Typography, and a smattering of others. They raised the price to $5.99. Two years ago Graphic 45 was $3.99 a pack.

I would love to find some of that! Sometimes I've gotten lucky and they will have packs that are mixed, not just all the same sheet. I really like both of those lines.

Mine has a ton of AC DIY stuff. But I bought a few things the last time TM had it, so I didn't get anything. But they really had a lot out! We also got the Doodlebug stuff, but I have so many brads and doodads like that I passed. It took some serious restraint though The paper has been dead the last month or so. Nothing new. Boo hoo. (not that I need any). We're planning on a visit to my mom again this fall and I'm hoping to do another round of TM shopping like I did this spring. That was so fun! Her stores seem to get some stuff mine don't. The daytime manager at mine knows my name (and DS's) now. She also knows we always come on the same day (after speech therapy)… basically at the same time, too. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Excuse me! Y'all ALL need to march yourselves directly to TIME OUT! Didn't I say NO POSTING awesome things??? LOL! Just kidding! I am so happy to report that I was able to get one of every color of the Doodlebug brads, I would NEVER buy them full price so HUGE happy dance here! They also had some of the shoppe pack ones but I don't use ribbon so passed on those. I picked up a few fall themed LYB printed canvas words and was out of there! Good thing it is further from me than I usually go!

I went back for a couple of the Doodlebug brad packs, after passing the first time I saw them. I saw the G45 paper packs and sticker sheets, Typography, Mother Goose, Couture, at a couple of stores, 25 sheets for $5.99. They also have chipboard stickers and die cuts, but they aren't packaged in groups of 6 sets like they have done previously. The price is $5.99 for a set (retail comparison shows $27), so that is obviously wrong because that makes them more than retail (maybe $4.50 per set). I'm not planning on buying any, so I didn't talk to anyone about it.

The sad thing is, I'm going to stew about it every time I see them for the next 6 months or however long they sit there. At some point I'm going to have to make it my personal mission to have someone fix it, because the craft section at TM has to be just so! I don't even want them, but I want them to be priced correctly. What is wrong with me? I am way too emotionally invested in this store.
