I did not see an August thread so I thought I would start one so share your August Tuesday Morning finds here...
I have been to a few stores lately as I have been looking for a quilt for my son (with no luck)- but I did find some ephemera packs and some American crafts glue dot runners- Pink Paislee ephemera packs - 1582137 (I got Hello Sunshine and Snow Village- they have the same sku) American Crafts glue runner permanent dots - 1563818 (These are orange.)
Anyone else find anything good lately?

I had a meeting in San Diego this week, and on my way back I stopped at a few TMs. Even though I'm fortunate to have a couple of stores nearby, I still found a few new goodies, including those sweet Pink Paislee ephemera packs. The store in Vista was especially good. Here's a picture (click to enlarge) of my purchases over the last two weeks:

I finally had a chance to go to mine yesterday and was so disappointed at the prices! I was hoping to find the great prices that others had mentioned in July's thread, but they weren't very good at all. The scrap stuff was neatly organized (and my hands weren't grimy after looking through everything), and they had a good selection, though. I bought a pack of wedding cardstock and some wedding stickers, but that was it.

I'm trying really hard not to visit TM. I want some of the new stuff that is coming out from the summer show, so I am saving my money. I haven't been for at least 3 weeks now. So proud of myself!
To be fair, the last couple of times I went, there was nothing I wanted, so I haven't been really tempted to go anyway.

Thanks for starting this thread!!! I meant to do it yesterday and forgot. We have been on a summer break from speech therapy for a couple weeks, so I haven't made it to my store that's over there. I went once randomly and totally struck out (early last week, I think). I've heard their summer stock is hit and miss and they don't get quite so much, so I'm not feeling too sad about missing out, but this thread might change that I love those Hello Sunshine vellum shapes oaksong! Very cute! you got some great stuff! I love it when I can make the rounds of several stores. It's so fun! I did that when visiting my mom earlier this summer.

My nearest TM closed and the next nearest is on a bad part of town that I prefer not to go to unless hubby is with me so my trips will be few and far apart . I will have to live through here! Don't post anything super awesome ok? LOL

Ours had the Pink Paislee ephemera packs, but I've only been able to find Snow Village. They also has some packs of the Luxe chipboards. I got 3 packs of the metallic foiled hearts. They also had the Pen Pals chip alphas and the Bella Rouge plastic looking alphabets

I got some Basic Grey sweetness paper that is ombre with dark raspberry pink and golden yellow: very pretty and I loved it so much I used it the same day I got it. I also got some Dear Lizzy tone-on-tone polka dot papers and some BG exclusives that say POTM exclusive (but I can't figure out what club that was). There was some Pebbles valentine stuff (the perfect shade of red which is so hard to find) and I got several Bazzill cardstock packs. One is a gorgeous color called Mustique which is an amazing beigey-gray (greige?). I picked up some cardstock in Doodlebug colors too: I can't resist anything brightly colored.
For embellies I picked up some SC thin black DIY tags, some chalkboard flair, and boatloads of AC glittered mini brads. I also found some WRMK washi in a watercolor type of chevron called smoke. I've been using a lot of pale gray to offset some of the pink, purple and turquoise I usually use. I'm still ISO that jumbo AC self-healing mat but I'm sure I'll find one soon.
It was worth digging thru the TM stuff: my bagful of goodies was under $30 and I got lots of interesting stuff!

I found the 7 gypsies ATC revolving stand for $8, and $1 packs of blank ATC cards. It's so cute, but I don't need more tabletop items.
I did pick up a Boys Rule 6x6 pad and letter pack, plus some Pebble Fourth of July stickers. The Boys Rule was new for our store, but I think others have mentioned finding it earlier.

Pelliroja, my store in Indiana still has the AC self-healing mats. We also had new 6 x 6 pads in the shipment today, along with a couple of cardstock pads for $5, 8.5 x 11 pads and new stencils. No big, new categories, but I did come home with paper, which is what I'm always on the prowl for.

All I've found recently was a couple of those big packs of flat alphabet stickers (AC with maybe 8 sheets to a pack?).

after reading this thread, I had to stop by TM this afternoon after work... I couldn't leave without buying a few things, lol!
I got three long, narrow quilter's stencils that I am going to use for tracing on paper (99 cents each, Darice brand, maybe?) and a couple stencils for tracing journaling lines onto SB pages, for 99 cents each-- get this; they were from the Chatter Box company!! how's that for a blast from the past?? lol!! (now that I think of it, I probably already have something like that in my stash, but I don't have any idea where...)
other than those couple things, the TM that's nearest me didn't have any good 'new' paper. It's all the same stuff I've been looking at for months, now!

I was the person a few weeks ago that had several packs out in front of me lying on other merchandise trying to see what I could do to make kits. Another shopper walked by and snagged them up in front of me as I just kind of looked shocked and humored at the brazenness at the same time. My hands were actually on the matching pack, but she didn't try to grab that. It was suggested by the Peas that I put my stuff in a basket next time. So I put some things in a basket and the basket got too full so I got a cart. I was standing right by the cart when three ladies came into the craft aisle. I pulled the cart towards me to get out of their way and one lady started going through the cart. I told her it was my cart and she just looked disgusted and asked if I needed both packs of 3d bees. Why, yes I did. The three ladies proceded to take three full prongs of stuff off the display and just set it on the merchandise on the shelf. I waited until they left and put it all back. Holy crap. Tuesday Morning is kind of my People of Walmart store. You just never know what you are going to run into. I happily spent $57 on paper packs and 3D bees.

So my Tuesday Morning draught is over! Our flight was delayed by over 2 hours coming home from the beach. Luckily, DH got a text informing him, but we were already packed and had to check out anyway. What to do? I asked DH if he'd like to take our time driving to the airport (about 1 1/2 hrs away) and stop at a couple of TM's along the way. Ha! He thought this was a good idea because it would give DS some energy busting to walk around and he would hopefully not fall asleep in the car so that he would fall asleep on the plane instead. Plus, he loves to look at the toys! Jackpot. The first store we hit up was brand new, in Destin, FL. I thought it was really weird, though, because they had older dated tags as well. I wonder if they take the good stuff from closing stores and put in the new stores? Anyway, I found this little pile of goodies. Crate Craft Market puffy stickers 1563801 $.99, LYB canvas stickers 1531154 $1.99 (I thought these were .99. Oh well. I use a lot of navy and blue letters so I will use them) and an Amy Tan Ready Set Go paper pad 1453422. This was marked as being from Sept. 14. See what I mean about older product in a brand new store? Then we visited the stores in Fort Walton and Pensacola. The Pensacola store was my favorite! They had an entire side of an aisle dedicated to craft stuff and it was neatly organized. You can tell they sell a lot of craft stuff, because they had multiples of new things and none of it was super old. I can't remember which store I got what from, but I cleaned up! I also wanted some packs of Bazzill for a charity crop I do stuff for, but I was worried they would get damaged in our luggage and I didn't have a carry-on bag that would fit them (scrapper's fail) so I passed. I'm kind of regretting that now because they were great deals. Versa Mark Dazzle Pad in Champagne $2.99 1565011 (I saw an idea for this on youtube I've been wanting to try, but I didn't want to spend $10 on the ink pad. This was a total score for me!) We R Memory Keepers 6x6 in Notable $2.99 1582139 Pebbles corrugated alpha stickers in a pretty teal $1.99 1581590 (I use this color ALL the time, so I bought two. They also had it in a neon bright pink, same SKU). 2 Heidi Swapp enamel stickers. $.99 1581589 (same sku for both) Jen Hadfield Pebbles puffy phrase stickers .99 1581589 (love the font and the gold!) Momento oversized 5x7 chevron embossing folder 1589989 $3.99 (a splurge for me at that price - ha!) Pink Paislee Luxe Hearts $1.49 1582137 And my favorite… Pebbles Fun in the Sun puffy enamel stickers!!! These are still being sold now in stores as this line was released this summer. I couldn't believe it! I have a bit of this paper, so I was excited I guess they were overstocks? Because I can't find anything wrong with them or anything. 1581589 $.99 Perfect for our beach trip pictures! (DS wanted to be in the photo this AM... I couldn't crop out his cute lil feet) So that's my haul. I'm resisting the urge to go over to my own TM this week I really don't need to go!

I bought one of the pink self healing mats at my Indiana store probably a month ago. It still stinks! I didn't put it outside to air out, which I really should. I haven't spent a lot of time in my craft room lately, but when I do it still has a faint odor. And I craft in a HUGE open basement. I would have thought it would have aired out by now (the basement isn't damp or anything).

Updating what's new in the TMs in my area:
Really cute little Doodlebug plastic letters & numbers for $1 per pack. Lots of different colors and 2 different fonts. Also Doodlebug flower variety brads, lots of different colors.
AC DIY (again) - Kraft and Chalkboard tags, banners, bags, clothespins, burlap bows, cork arrows & hearts.

In case a picture would help you make up your mind crazy4scraps , this so what I got. I don't have very many kid pages to do, so I exercised some restraint. Someone probably should take my temperature because I didn't buy the brads. It was hit and miss to find the same color and font for the 3 different options of abc, 123, etc.
