UPDATE - X-rays looked good. The PA will have my surgeon review them because she thought one of the knee components was pulling away, but this is my better of the two knees and not the knee I smacked when I fell. Most of my pain is from a calf muscle tear.
Unrelated to my bike fall, unfortunately bone spurs are forming behind both knee components so that might be an issue at some point. And my good hip is now bone-on-bone in the lower portion. I know that replacement is in my future, but I don't want to do it yet. My first three replacements were done when I was 42. I'm now 46. I must be an orthopedists dream - lifelong orthopedic care and surgeries since these components will not last my lifetime.
We went biking Sunday. I don't know why because it was 106, but we did. Somehow I managed to wipe out and fall from my bike onto blacktop. I banged both knees and they're bruised as well as one calf and I have road rash on my elbow. The reason I'm freaked is because I have two knee replacements and a hip replacement. I'm going to my surgeon this afternoon for x-rays. I really think if I broke anything in the components I wouldn't be able to walk. I'm stiff and sore, but it's more of a muscle sore. The thought of knee surgery again is awful. I really really really really hope there's nothing serious and I'm just banged up a little.

Here's hoping it's just sore muscles and a few scrapes

I think you're right, if it was anything more than bruising, you wouldn't be able to walk. Hope your X-rays are clear.

Hoping you are just badly banged up (how weird is that to wish for???). I, too, think that if the components were damaged you wouldn't be able to walk.

Good thing to get the xrays. I have had a few patients fall after total joint replacement and have a minor fracture, usually they fx below or above the compoments. They usually don't harm the actual joint replacement. . They usually could still walk though, it's just that the pain lingered on. Keep us updated!

How scary DH bikes a lot since his hip replacement and is always worried about taking a fall. Hope the x-rays are clear and the bruising heals quickly.

I've had one hip replaced and I feel like it is stronger than it ever was before replacement. Love my new hip! A fall can be scary. Hope all is well.

I so hope your new joints are ok. I've done the same thing but with original joints. It sure made me a mess for a few days. Hope you feel better soon.

I think it's smart to get the x-rays just in case, but hopefully they show no damage.
