and never posted (if you sort by post count). I don't know how many are on each page, but that is a lot of posters not posting. If you are still here and reading, please post!

avid lurkers perhaps? I'm registered on another board and it took me a very long time to start posting. I just enjoyed reading the posts for the longest time. to this day I don't post as much as I do here.

Does it say when they signed up? Perhaps during the recent loss?

I'm a semi-professional lurker. I read this board a *lot* more than I post. It was the same at the original pea board. I don't spend a lot of time here so often by the time I come across a post I want to respond to there are already multiple people saying the same thing. I generally don't care for 20 posts of the same thought, so I just move on.

maybe they witnessed some spats in the NSBR and got skeeered to post? LOL. maybe they are just existing peas reserving ID's for future anonymous posts?

Hand up! I'm a lurker- I don't need to log in to read so I float in and float out again. I'm trying really hard to actually post occasionally but sadly... I've not got much of interest to say!

Oh and yes, what papersilly said, I found the NSBR a scary place!

I'll echo that to members who do read but don't post.....please join in, it would be good to have you posting. Lots of us took a deep breath and came out of lurkdom and it wasn't too painful!

BarbaraUK gar shouldn't you be in bed? NSBR has been part of my life for over 10 years but I'm far too fragile to handle being "piled on" like sometimes happened on the old board. I'll see if I can get my posts up to 100 before the end of the month.

Yes, I should be TeuchterPea but I've been finishing something and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Hope you do manage to get your posts up to 100 by the end of the month - and that some of those will be good ideas in the daily dinner thread....I could do with some inspiration this time of year!

I'm a lurker! I was on the original board and now here. Most of the time someone has already said was I was thinking so I just don't post. Love reading everyone's stuff though!

I'm a major lurker. I usually just have time for a quick in and out to see what's going on. Any time I want to know what's going on in the world, I come over here first, vs. going to a news site! The Peas always know what's going on before anyone else!!!

I am an avid lurker. I was on the old boards but didn't post much there. I used to be pretty active back in the day when there were swaps and stuff.

I too am more of a lurker than a poster. I just don't feel that my 2 cents are really worth even 2 cents. Then a lot of times, what I have to say has already been said several times.
But, I will try harder now.

Another lurker here. I had been on the original site since almost the beginning and was mostly a lurker there as well.

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't get this reference. Heidi Swapp's son Cory. Threads about his passing popped the RefuPeas up to the first page on Google when people searched for info about that and apparently there was an influx of new members joining around that time.

Just because someone may have said what you were thinking doesn't mean that you should not join the conversation. Chime in!

As with any forum you can pick and chose the subjects to respond to. I prefer to not do politics but I certainly do enjoy reading what others have to say.
I have learned so much from the peas. This forum has been my hangout as I have walked through the last four years of widowhood. I have laughed and I have cried. I have been totally amused by many of the things that we discuss.
Thank you peas for making this an interesting place!!!
