just remember that carly --when in charge of a major company--almost destroyed it and is seen as a business failure.

I have said that I would vote for the nominee, even if it were Trump. After tonight, I just don't think I can. Anybody else, probably. Trump? Just don't think so. My stance is generally that I will vote for whoever is the Democratic candidate, but there is no way in hell I could ever vote for that awful man if he were the Dem. His politics could be A-OK but his presentation is execrable. I want to smack his nasty little face. erm, I may be feeling a little too strongly on this subject.

just remember that carly --when in charge of a major company--almost destroyed it and is seen as a business failure. And she couldn't get herself elected senator in California. What makes her think she'll do better out there in the rest of the country? I don't care for her. (But better her than Trump!)

Trump.......absolutely not Christie, Cruz, Huckabee.....just can't get on board with these guys on a personal level Carson, Walker, Paul, Rubio.....like some things about them, but more as a VP candidate, I think Bush, Kasich......have some policy differences with both, but right now I think these are the two I would be most comfortable with....which surprises me a little.

just remember that carly --when in charge of a major company--almost destroyed it and is seen as a business failure. My husband works for HP and met her and he really doesn't like her and said there is no way he could vote for her and that she did so much damage to the company. She did sound good though.

Well, it definitely was entertaining. Honestly, I think Trump gave the republicans a little advantage tonight. I would not have bothered to watch tonight if I wasn't looking for a train-wreck, but because I watched tonight, there are a couple of republicans that I am not dismissing.
I don't think they gave Kasich or Carson enough time. I'd like to know more.

I can't believe that Trump is still in the polls. I agree he makes me want to smack him.

just remember that carly --when in charge of a major company--almost destroyed it and is seen as a business failure. My dad worked for a company that contracted with HP. He cannot stand her. Thinks she is incompetent and destructive.

Voter reaction to Trump is NOT good. short sound bites are great for him. Complete thoughts on real topics, not so much.

Voter reaction to Trump is NOT good. I thought he was number 1 in the polls. Which scares the heck out of me.

I hope Carly gets a lot more air time. I would love to see a debate between Carly and Hilary!

They just showed a shot of Charles Krauthamer (sp?) , and I realized he reminds me of Sam the Eagle from the Muppets.

Cruz insinuated that Reagan had gotten the Iranian hostages released on his first day in office. In reality, the deal was made before that, but Iran did not like Carter and did not want him to get the credit. I don't like Cruz because he isn't so much about what should be done as much as pointing fingers at people.

I'm DVRing so way, way behind. My first impression is anyone who thought Fox was going to throw softballs was very, very wrong.

I say this tongue in cheek...but I'm not sure I really care much about how Californians decide who they're voting for. After all, they've given us the gem that is Nancy Pelosi. Pardon me if I don't put a whole lot of stock into the decisions California voters make.

It is close to the 10 Word Answer Josh was looking for on The West Wing
I do agree that the military should not pay for gender transformation surgery. Not because I disagree with what someone wants to do, but it is elective and if other elective surgeries aren't covered than that one should not be either.

I like Rand's, "You don't borrow from China to give money to another country." I have no idea why we do that. It makes NO sense to me whatsoever. I also agree that if we had a surplus and wanted to help, then sure, but why do we borrow to give?

I'm sorry, but I'm as an utter economics snob... If Carson doesn't know Alan Greenspan's position, he is gone from my list.

I don't like Cruz because he isn't so much about what should be done as much as pointing fingers at people. I used to have a boyfriend who insisted Iran released the hostages that day because they were afraid of Reagan. It was such complete BS. They didn't care about Reagan, they just wanted to spit in the eye of Jimmy Carter.

Thank you for your comments. I watched the first debate but had to go out during the second. It is fun seeing your reactions.
I know a lot of people who worked for HP, so,ex high up, and not one has even one decent thing to say about Carley. Bad business woman is about the nicest.
I really wNt to watch to see what Kasich has to say.
Hopefully I can find it somewhere to watch.

Governor Walker kind of looks like a dufus - I know, I know I should not be so shallow. I've never seen him speak - he needs to change something because I'm distracted by his utter goofy expression.

It was a brutal, brutal period when many, many good business people were at the helm of companies who suffered, and in many cases imploded.

I've never seen Kasich and really liked him - I'll have to learn more. Jeb Bush really lighted up talking about Education, first time he didn't seem like an awkward businessman. Christy seemed much more sane than my going in impression. I genuinely liked Carson, but can't get over the utter inexperience. I didn't like Rand Paul and liked him even less after tonight. I find Marco Rubio personable but don't care for his politics. I didn't like Cruz going in and don't like him now. I know others were on the stage, but I've already forgotten them or refuse to acknowledge their presence.
