I ordered from them one time many, many years ago. I didn't have a problem. I do agree Buyer Beware. I have heard horrible stories about them on the old 2Peas Board & SCS.
I agree they have really cute stuff. I heard their cardstock is divine to work with. I have this thing about drama. I avoid it like the plague. If I think a company is drama filled I won't order from them.
Between PTI & Studio Calico's reputation I don't know who should get the worst customer service award from the horror stories I read. It wasn't just like he said she said thing, I have read the letters PTI has sent their customers.
Have you looked at Gina K? I know a lot of PTI fans really love her stuff too. I have never ordered from her. I do know she really cares about her business and treating her customers well. Her cardstock is also some of the highest quality in the stamping industry.
I don't know if this is any help. One of my friends does love PTI but had a really bad experience with them. She orders her PTI things off eBay. That way she can have her things she loves without the drama.

I ordered a lot 2012, 2013, and 2014 never any issue on any orders. Never needed to contact customer service. I didn't order anything in 2015 because everything I wanted to order was never in stock at the same time, every time I looked they had sold out again of something i wanted. but I plan to order this year.

All the negatives about customer service are absolutely correct. While products are very good, you will be hung out to dry if there is a problem. I received an incorrect item and figured it would just be an easy even exchange. Not only was I told the only thing I could do was return (at my expense) and reorder, but they refused to waive the $7 shipping on the replacement stamp which only cost $5 to begin with! I suggested they just give me a $7 credit against my next order and they flat out refused. So I am stuck with something I don't want, but I will throw it in the trash before I will pay $7 to get a $5 item! There are just too many reputable companies out there to take your chances with PaperTrey. Order at your own risk!

They can't make you pay to fix their mistakes...they are essentially stealing from you. Your bank and/or CC company should side with you and do a chargeback for what they didn't deliver on.

I've always had great service from Papertrey Ink. I love their cardstock especially. I don't order on Release Day so it isn't as chaotic. I order a few times a year.
