I have a great little family-owned market down the street. Their deli case is chalk-full of fresh, real, prepared foods that are phenomenal. Yesterday, I bought some chicken salad, but now I'm remembering a pesto chicken salad sandwich I had a few weeks ago and how delicious it was. Have you ever added pesto to already-made chicken salad? Any suggestions for me? I have basil in a tube (classy, I know!), some olive oil, and garlic... Was thinking I would just make pesto in a little dish and then mix it in?
Any ideas?
Thanks! Taylor

I'd probably spread it on the bread and grill the bread, then put the chicken salad on. But YEAH! You can do whatever you want, it's your food! What's the worst that will happen?

I think you should give it a try. Sounds like it should work!
My mom recently made chicken salad with balsamic mayo and it was a big hit.
