I'm not actually serious, I love that man. But I am just a bit miffed because last year we basically tore up all our roots to move to PA from IA. We had to live apart for 9 months while he found a house, we bought it, we transferred DS and the pets, and I embarked on an epic journey to finish repairs and updates and packing and purging 20+ years of accumulated stuff to sell that house, say goodbye to all my friends and family, the job I've mostly loved for 15 years, and move across the country...and--so what's he doing right now? Talking to one of his former bosses...the company has changed hands and management and wants him back on the team. "Keeping the options open", he says.
I'M NOT EVEN...

Discuss amongst yourselves and flame away while I make tacos and contemplate murder.

I think a jury of your peers would find you innocent of any crime you commit against him for this

Ugh beyond frustrating. I can't imagine. It's bad enough contemplating moving house locally never mind all of that.

Oh. My.
My niece packed up and moved to Kentucky with her dh a few months ago for a job. Her son is on the spectrum, so you know how difficult changes are. The job fell through. So they moved back in 3-4 months. I don't know how she did it. And she just posted nice anniversary wishes to him on FB as well. Better her than me....

We moved for dh's job in March. We did not sell our house (yet) , dh's employer is paying all our living expenses in our new city. I read your post and am so glad I have "out" for now if this doesnt work out. Moving is a lot of work! Especially with kids and pets.

So is he still alive? Or will you never update this post because you're in jail? And I agree, not a jury of your peers would convict. But would you be okay with moving back?

I think a jury of your peers would find you innocent of any crime you commit against him for this ^^^^ perfectly said! ^^^^ Although, in a couple of years - I personally want to move to Texas and we have lived in Inidana for our entire lives. DH has worked for the same company for 27 years and I have worked for the same company for 13. I'm just not cut out for 4 seasons anymore!

I packed up and moved to a brand new built for me house also in Pa. Lived there by myself for 9 years. Then the stock market crashed in 2008 and we lost the house. I moved back to our old place Husband never sold it and I had to clean it up everyone I knew is gone. I have to make new friends again. Oh well that is life. I'm making the best of what I got left.

I've been married 31 years. I love my husband but there are times when I just shake my head.

I have to admit the first thing I thought was but now your house is all cleaned out from all that clutter one collects from years in one house. It will be so much easier to move this time.....LOL Sorry and good luck with tacos and murder!

one of my favorite CHICAGO (the show) songs---- HE HAD IT COMING!! If you'd a been there- you would have done the same!
All of us agree.
THIS would cost him- I would DEMAND a new scrapbook room out of the deal!

Not the same situation, but we moved into my parents in Feb while we looked for a house. We close on our first house 2 weeks from today. I've hired movers this time as there was no way I was moving us again (hubby is disabled and can't lift above 10 lbs) So we've moved 2 times in 4.5 months. I can't imagine moving states away though

Thanks ladies, esp for the offer to hold my earrings--I lol'd! I think he still feels bad about uprooting us all last year, and feels that if the old company were to pay enough, we'd all like to move back. The truth is though that I don't want to move my high-school age son again, our DD is in cosmetology school, and we just got his mother moved into her own place out here so that's really not going to work. I think in the end only I would be happy with moving back, and it's not about just me! Plus, there is still winter in SE PA but it's not nearly as bad as winter on the frozen IA tundra. I won't miss that. I think I got him to realize that he wouldn't actually be helping anything if he wanted to move back so soon. The tacos were excellent, BTW

Wow, moving a high-school child, one in post-secondary and his mom?
Have you started a "go fund me" for your bail and legal fees?

I think a jury of your peers would find you innocent of any crime you commit against him for this That. Definitely!
I think a big glass of wine is in order. And the proclamation that if another move is the end result, DH is doing the logistics. Including all the packing and unpacking!

I think you need to drop hints that you need a "spa day" for your mental health paid for by DH. It's a ton cheaper than a trip to the psych ward and/or prison.
