I like the plus size section of Maurices. They have a good selection online as well. I found some nice things at Maurice's as well. And also at Dress Barn.

I have been buying a lot of my clothes at Dressbarn. Many can either be dressed up or down depending on what else I wear with it. I also like JcPenney....they tend to carry the same styles in the plus sizes as they do in the regular sizes so I feel like they are pretty stylish.

I usually do best at Macy's. I also love me Dillard's which is over an hour away but I go a few times a year.

Macy's has a really good selection of plus size clothes. If you don't have a store near you, their online selection is gigantic. And if you are short as well, they have plus size petite pants. I mainly buy all of my work clothes there (business casual). They have great deals on clothes if you shop the clearance section and use coupons. You can find coupon codes online or in the newspaper. If you want a good deal, shop there during one of their many one day sales.
I actually went to Macy's today, bought 2 work shirts, pajama shirt and pants for $78.00. I thought it was a pretty good deal since plus size pajamas are always hard to find for me. The thing about Macy's is don't ever buy anything at regular price because everything eventually goes on sale and you can use a coupon on top of that. If you want plus size pajamas that are super comfortable and soft and will last a long, long time you need to get these from LL Bean. I love all of their pima/supima cotton items. In the warm months I wear the short sleeve night gown and when it's cold I wear the pajamas. They are pricey but worth it. They usual offer a discount around most holidays so I suspect they will offer 10% off next weekend.

Dillard's has clothes that fit me well as well as Talbots. Both carry things in plus size petite. You don't suddenly get taller because you are a plus size lady . If you live where there is a Dillard's outlet close by they have some terrific deals. The one in Phoenix I got some amazing deals of top quality clothing that fits

My favorites are Torrid and Old Navy, although ON has been hit and miss for me the last year or two. My last purchase from there was a couple months ago and I ended up sending more than half of my order back. Of the two shirts I ended up keeping, one I like and the other I really love.

Nordstroms and Land's End. I usually like Lane Bryant too but for the last year I have not really found anything that I like there. I have to do all online shopping so it is tricky sometimes.

I found them on a blog recently. Love some of their stuff. Have you ordered? Is it good quality? I ordered and bunch of tops at the start of summer, and also a swim dress. I was/am surprised at the quality. I am very happy with it. They seem to be well made. No loose threads, not paper thin, ect. A little pricey if not on sale, but worth it to feel fashionable.

Another vote for Cato. They always have blouses and sweaters that I love - stylish, not frumpy- and with a nice cut. I don't do tight and I like to have my arms covered (at least partially) at work because it is so cold all the time. I always get compliments on my clothes from Cato.

Lands end Talbots Cold water creek although not in love with the reboot. I completely agree. I love Talbots and Lands End. I'm not impressed with Coldwater Creek's online store. Don't be intimidated by the pricing at Talbots. Sign up for emails and you'll get lots of % off offers. Also, their clothing is classic and lasts forever! Seriously, I have pants, blazers, and jackets that are several years old. I've been know to just get tired of something and give it to my mom after a couple years. I like to wear nice pants, a tee with embellishment, and one of Talbots cardi's. It's my uniform!

Just found the best jeans ever at Torrid. I had never shopped there before. What kind of jeans did you get? I've been searching for a good pair. My last few have been from Maurice's, but I wanted to try something new. I got some high rise, skinny that are not super skin tight.

Thanks! You all have reminded me of some places i used to shop but forgot about, like Dress Barn, and places I've never been, like Catherine's. I checked Macy's online last night, and they actually have a "trendy" section now, so I was able to get some cute tops there. I am going to check around at some more places this week.

I forgot about JJill! Mystie there is one near you in Hampton. They size their stuff so an XL is really like a 1-2x. They have plus sizes on line that are essentially the same as in the store at the smaller size. The store only carries regular sizes, but you will be amazed when you try on an XL and find it sized up. And soft, nice material! Yum!

I find the best jeans in the plus-size section of Nordstrom Rack. LOVE them. I also buy the Jennifer Lopez ones at Kohls, as long as they're aren't too blingey or distressed. Her boyfriend jeans fit me well. I did buy some great ones at Torrid. I like the ones that have the higher waist, though. It helped to go try on a bunch of their styles. Dresses I buy at EShakti. Shirts...Target (love Ava & Viv), JC Penney (I like the ANA line). Sometimes Nordstrom Rack. Torrid. ModCloth does have plus sizes, and I have ordered from them, too.
Has anyone tried ordering from Eloquii?

I have recently spent more time than I wanted in Dress Barn and Lane Bryant looking for a dress for a wedding. Found one on the clearance rack in LB for $20 . Now I have to find shoes. Ugh. I like both those stores but tend to gravitate towards Kohls. I hate shopping because nothing looks good on me.
