I´m a sucker for halloween lines......all of them! My Minds Eye, Echo Park, Carta Bella. I. must. have. them. all. The only problem is that almost no one celebrates Halloween here in Norway.... I have stash from years ago and I love all of it, but I find it difficult to use it. So I´m just wondering, do you use Halloween papers, die cuts and stickers just for Halloween or do you use it for typical "October-days"?

If they are more seasonal, like autumn leaves, pumpkins, etc. I will use them, but Halloween specific papers I've only ever used for Halloween. I'm interested to find out if there are other ways to use them I haven't thought of!

Other than cards and home decore and decorations I can't think of anything. I too have a large stash.

I think just Halloween - unless they are more hravest than Halloween with baskets and pumpkins and such rather than jack o lanterns and monsters etc.

I could see using it for a scary movie outing or the haunted house at an amusement park or something. But I think of it as very specific to the holiday.

I pretty much just use it for Halloween, but we do it up pretty big at our house. We decorate the house inside and out, and when it doesn't fall on a weekend we like to have a little party for the neighbors and neighborhood kids. Sometimes we all dress up, other times we don't, it just depends. We always carve a bunch of pumpkins. I have a huge stash for Halloween because we always take a ton of pictures around that time of year, but Halloween and general fall themed things are kind of different categories to me. One of the big reasons why I bought a new camera last year was because my phone camera takes such lousy low light photos and Halloween is a big deal to us. Now I just need to get some of those pictures scrapped so I can use some of it!

Yeah, I think besides Halloween I only have plans to use it for the Tower of Terror ride at DisneyWorld and Sea World's October Madness (I think it is called?). Of course, if there are items in the kit that are not themed, just in typical Halloween colors I can certainly see using them elsewhere.

I have the doodlebug collection
I've the spider page for my nephews art making a spider and I've used some for dress up
The doodle bug collection has such amazing colours and a lot of the backs are just stripes or spots or stars so it can be used any time

I actually used a portion of a Halloween paper for my son-in-law's birthday card. And yes, I do like him! I just provided the background that I wanted for the card. The card was golf based

I have way too much Halloween stuff, too. A lot of the B side of the paper is more generic, so I try to use that. I bought a 25 sheet pack at TM last year because it had a nice black and white gingham check pattern.

we don't celebrate Halloween in Australia either- but I love the purple green black and orange papers. I often use them mixed in with my other stash as long as there aren't bats or witches or whatever. I tend to buy the more generic patters like stripes or checks and have no trouble using them year round

I love Halloween lines! I've refrained from buying anything too theme-y since I don't dress up, have any kids, or do much to celebrate. Last year I made a cute little mini album with a Teresa Collins Halloween collection, and fell in love with Gilligan's idea to do an October Occasionally album. I think if I can squeeze in more autumnal experiences, like farmer's markets, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, etc, I'll attempt that.

I try not to buy a lot (another Aussie pea) but have no problems if the b-sides are versatile. The exception to this is the skull prints which I love using on pages about myself. It's so hard to buy skulls that are not cutesy except at Halloween so if I find a print I love I buy it. I have been known to buy Halloween prints and just admire them for a while in my stash before finally flipping them over and cutting into the b side. I don't see anything wrong with that

I also, love Halloween papers and have a pretty good stash of them. And I can (and will) use them for all of October...not just Halloween. But, we do a full month of Halloween stuff during the month - lots of Halloween/fall farms, haunted houses and the like. We decorate our house all spooky and watch scary movies all month. It's my husband's favorite holiday so we really go all out.
I have a bunch of MME and Teresa Collins Halloween collections and I hope to get my hands on Crate Paper's new one.

Another halloween paper stash lover here, with nothing much to use it for. I, too, love the purples, oranges, blacks and lime greens and Love the bats, skulls and witches! I'm hoping the grandkids will get involved as they get older. They have dressed as pumpkins (before age 1) and a fairy witch but are too young to know what's going on. I'm looking forward to decorating the house with them in the future. I've already got my Pinterest Halloween board up and running. In the meantime, I've been meaning to make a mini album, really just for my own enjoyment, based on Graphic 45 and other papers.

I love Halloween lines too! I wish I used them. I find Halloween so difficult to scrap! It is just so themey, it's hard to do. Maybe the October daily album would be a way around that. Or at least to scrap more than the costume pages - I don't scrap those though!
Something to think about! Maybe I'll let myself buy a new collection this year!

You could do a layout about your favorite scary movies and use the Halloween paper. Or some sort of Top 10 List about Halloween,(what you love about it, why you wish your country celebrated it, interesting facts, favorite costumes, etc).

I take pics of Halloween stuff all throughout October. We decorate the outside of our house a little differently every year so I take pics of that. Then there are pumpkin patch photos. We try to grow some of our own every year but we also go to the nice farmer guy down the street and buy some pumpkins and squash from him too. Then there are the costume pics and the getting ready for ToT-ing costume pics. There are photos taken at the Zoo Boo and more taken at the local grocery store when they do their Boo Bash thing for the kids, and still more still if DD has a dress up day/party at school. If we have a party, I can easily take over a hundred pics for that alone. I take more pics of us carving many of those pumpkins. Then there's Trick or Treating with the neighbors, and the candy stash photos of DD with all of her loot. I could very easily justify buying all of the stuff I have. Now if I would actually get some of these photos edited and printed, I could burn through a LOT of my Halloween stash!
