I need to grocery shop and I've lost my appetite so again, I haven't a clue what I'll have. I ended up making a tuna salad sandwich last night so maybe I'll have the blue box mac & cheese tonight. What are you having?

Well, not really sure. I just spent a bit of time making my grocery list, just need to get off my arse to go to the store. Honestly, I don't plan on cooking tonight, even though I'll have a kitchen full of fresh stuff, lol. And I already warned the DH.

Going to a cookout at my brothers house in about an hour..which is great because I'm starving and trying not to eat everything in sight in the meantime! I know my mom is making ribs and chicken and my brother and his wife are doing burgers and dogs. Not sure what else will be there. I'm bringing an Italian lemon cream cake..it was such a hit last time I made it that I've been told that at every event, I'm automatically signed up to bring that.

We're meeting friends at a locally owned burger place. I'm not really a burger fan, but last time we were there I had a turkey burger with avocado that was probably the best burger I've ever had. Guess I'll be having that again tonight.

Leftover chicken parm! I'll make some fresh pasta to go with it though (and probably small spinach/feta/walnut/strawberry salads on the side for me and DH).

Nothing thrilling. Ravioli (frozen) w/tomato sauce (jar). Last nite's dinner wasn't healthy (chocolate chip waffles w/whipped cream), but at least I actually made everything, so it can be called cooking, lol. Friday I made Pioneer Woman't Bowtie Chicken Alfredo. Third time making it. God, we love that stuff!

Costco Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli
I cannot believe what a madhouse Costco is on a weekend afternoon. OMG. I normally go on a weekday afternoon but thought chicken sounded good so I didn't have to cook tonight. It was more work BUYING the stupid chicken than it would have been to cook a gourmet feast at home! LOL

Considering it's the last day of August in Georgia, it's almost cool this evening and we had rain off and on all day. In celebration, we'll be having some rice and chili tonight. Warm, easy to fix, and getting in the mood for fall weather every day.

Ds started fall baseball today, a 1pm game. We were all starving, so we made dinner as soon as we got home- bacon cheeseburgers, along with some pasta salads I bought yesterday. We will just snack later if we get hungry.

She had these chicken alfredo casseroles that were the best thing ever!! When we left Saturday morning, she sent the extra one she bought home with us. I will be eating this for the next couple of days. I want a costco just so I can buy this. It is delicious.

We are having Italian Beef, on crusty rolls, with sautéed onions, peppers, and mushrooms, with a choice of thin sliced pepper-jack cheese, or provolone cheese. Oh and Garlic aioli too. My house smells amazing!

My friends are coming for homemade lasagna. It took me awhile to prepare and clean up but its ready to heat when they get here. They are bringing the sides. Not sure what that is and whatever they bring is fine with me. PS. Don't tell them I make mine with cottage cheese. I've never made it without.

We had a late-ish lunch at Five Guys, so tonight will be the leftover taco salad meat (from last night) but in burrito form tonight.

Love these. Really love just about anything from Skinnytaste to be honest. The filling freezes well so all I have to do is cook the potato, scoop in the already made filling, cook a little more and voila, dinner! Turkey Santa Fe stuffed potato skins

Leftovers and I am so grateful! I picked up a chicken alfredo pasta dish from Costco on Friday because we had some work being done in our home and I would be able to use the oven but not doing much work in the kitchen so I bought one premade. I rarely do that but I was so glad I did. The weekend has been a hard one and I needed ease.

Still eating leftovers out of the 'frig. DH had the last of the short ribs and some rice. I had a baked potato and salad. We had Hawaiian rolls to go with it. Monday we will be out and about so maybe we will eat out tomorrow and the 'frig is bare.

We got a good deal on pork butt, so DH has them in the smoker. We'll slice them up later to serve on ciabatta rolls with some cole slaw, then shred the rest to have with tacos later in the week. They smell so good right now .
