It's a very busy day and I might be going for a fluid infusion and that takes about 3 hours. So, we'll be doing leftovers. I made Rachel Ray's Chicken Pot Pie Stoup last night and it was a hit. So, I think it'll be dinner tonight, as well. akathy, hope you're feeling much better today.

Grilled burgers, parmesan potato wedges and watermelon.
Need to take advantage of these last days of sun before the days on end rainstorms show up!

I don't know. My son is going over to my MIL's to do her yard and she is sending a meal home with him. Could be anything!

In & Out!!! Double protein style spread only with a coke and fries for dd, cheese burger spread only with fries and a dr pepper for me, and double double no onion with cheese fries and a shake for dh. Ds gets to e.joy his EleCare Jr formula. Mmm (tried it once when dd had it for gut shut down due to celiac and it really isn't bad. Not sweet like regular formula)

It was going to be shrimp and grits but I am doing an out of town shopping run. So leftover pizza for DH and whatever I find that sounds good while shopping. Fried mushrooms, however bad they are for you, sound kind of good right now.

I'm meeting my oldest and dearest friend at an Italian restaurant after work. We've been friends since 1973 and rarely get to see each other. It will be great to catch up.

We're having a nice, big healthy salad. Not any particular kind because I throw everything I can find in our dinner salads. I'm just glad there will be no stove required for dinner tonight.

A new recipe, vegetable jambalaya, I'm overly excited for it. This sounds yummy, do you have a recipe you can share?
Trying a recipe dh found, it's a Mexican tortilla casserole. Basically a Mexican version of lasagna. It' really doesn't appeal to me, but so be it, the kids are looking forward to it. Planning to roast some cauliflower to go with it.

I just finished putting some dry rub on pork chops -- cumin, brown sugar, chili powder, and salt. Those will be grilled along with some onions. Then they go on top of tex-mex bowls of brown rice, corn, and black beans. Toppings are pico de gallo, sour cream, and big slices of avocado.

I'm making cube steak with mushroom gravy and maybe crash hot potatoes and roasted Brocolli. I wanted mashed potatoes but I only have little red potatoes and I don't like those kind mashed.
