when do you start getting your fall decorations out? It's still way too hot to think about fall so mine are staying boxed up until at least Oct 1st. I love fall but that means winter is right around the corner and I hate cold!

Probably will on Tuesday--but it's still 90+ degrees out!

They will be out by the end of the week. Thanksgiving Sunday is October 11th! (Canada)
I really that there is a good deal of time between our Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can enjoy Thanksgiving, stretch it out a bit for Hallowe'en and then into the Christmas Season. Plenty of time to enjoy every celebration and every turkey dinner.

I'm tempted to get them out today while the husband is home. I took my son to his friends house at about 9:00 p.m. last night and it was chilly! It's been lower than average temperatures this weekend. They will be out by the end of the week. Thanksgiving Sunday is October 11th! (Canada)

I personally like having the Halloween decorations up for the whole month of October, Fall decorations for November, Christmas decorations for December. Sometimes if I'm ambitious fall decorations are up in September, taken down and put back in November. I guess it just depends on what you are used to celebrating.

I don't have any fall decorations that aren't Halloween themed so I will wait until it gets closer to October.

I don't have much but I will probably wait until October 1st. With my stuff, also, most of it is Halloween related.

I wait until October 1st for the most part. I can't wait. Love fall, love the colors and smells. Love the decorations. It was 98 yesterday, and I am really ready for fall to get here.

We don't really decorate for fall, most of our stuff is specifically Halloween. I was thinking the other day that maybe I'll pull it out a little earlier this year, maybe the first weekend in October or so.

Decorating for anything other than Christmas is not really a thing here. Some people do have Hallowe'en decorations, but it's not that common. Mind you, I did see a beautiful autumnal wreath in TKMaxx the other day, and I considered buying it for two seconds. Then I realised I have a whole house to get plastered, painted and wallpapered before Hallowe'en, and the last thing I need is a wreath!

On August 10th I took down the fourth of July stuff. I am waiting patiently for October 1st to put out the Halloween stuff. Right now I just have my dining room table in fall colors.

At the earliest, late September/early October. If my flowers are still blossoming possibly later than that. I want to hold onto that last bit of summer as winter is so long here. In that case, it could be closer to Halloween.
